Not all variations on the theme of "tank battle" have the same algorithm, there is one with the disconnection of one caterpillar after the first hit - in my opinion, a very unfortunate idea. At first, the turret rotation of the T-34 did not work. Something mechanically interfered with her, maybe the gears were skewed a little. Did a bit of work with a screwdriver - didn't want to run around with exchanges / refunds and upset the child. The tanks are very easy to disassemble / assemble: everything is on screws, no disposable latches and problems. After disassembly / assembly, the problem is no longer there. I also "humanized" the toy in terms of sound volume. Made it quieter twice - the brain is no longer blown up by others. 47 ohm resistor per speaker per tank. Initially there is a "silent" mode - but not so fun to play. "Out of the box" there are chaotic hits on the enemy: you shoot to the side - hit, the tank behind cover - but hit. Not good. But this is not a marriage, but just a technical feature. You don't aim directly at the TV with the remote control - here the same principle is at the heart of the shooting. It is treated with resistors (slightly reduce the power of the "shot" IR diode, next to the gun). T-34 - 47 Ohm, Tiger - 100 Ohm. I selected it experimentally so that there were equal indicators of the firing range (the diodes of the tanks are different). They shoot at 4 meters. The apartment has an excellent range. The problem with incomprehensible hits began to arise very rarely. There are still enough batteries. If they die, I'll convert them to simple AA batteries. The size is the same, only insert the container with contacts into the tank. And the capacity will easily increase, and the versatility and survivability of batteries (battery blocks are worse to charge than individually, less convenient, and they are collected from cheap cans).

Advantages: Realistic. When turned on, they twitch a little and make a sound, as if a real engine had started. When shooting, they roll back a little, simulating recoil. A scattered constructor, a railroad, and slippers run perfectly well. Convenient management. Separate thumb levers for each track. Under the index fingers are the turret rotation buttons. You can maneuver, turn the tower and shoot at the same time. Batteries - no batteries needed.

Disadvantages: The barrel is fragile - do not take it, let alone lift the tank by the barrel - it will fall off! You can stick it and no problem. Batteries with their own connector. You need to unscrew the bolt on the bottom with a screwdriver, take out the battery, disconnect the connector and connect it to the native charger. When will USB start doing?

Comment: An excellent toy for its price. Children are better from 5 years old. Adults are also good for fun. You can combine several such sets and arrange a battle (frequencies do not overlap).

To get into a tank, you just need to shoot in the direction of it. Fences don't help much, as The IR diode is powerful enough and reflects off the furniture. To dodge hits, one must be strictly in the rear hemisphere from the shot, otherwise the ambets.
