Disadvantages: The UPS is a little noisy compared to the APC SUA 1000; it did not make any sounds at all when operating on mains. The fans only turn on when running on battery power. The standard firmware does not have a function to turn off or dim the display backlight, the problem is solved by contacting technical support. I updated the firmware, everything works. The only thing to consider for the firmware is a com port or a network management card. When flashing, the UPS disconnects the load, so first disconnect the computer from the UPS before flashing.

Comment: I am satisfied with the purchase. The UPS pulls 2 computers and an LCD TV and all network equipment. With all devices on, the load is 58%. The power supply in the house is relatively stable, the stabilizer worked a couple of times in two months, but the drawdowns were insignificant. The UPS did not switch to batteries. The UPS is a worthy continuation of the Smart UPS line.

Comment: I have long wanted to buy this UPS. I also wanted SUA, but then this SMT came out. This year, I finally crushed a toad and bought this model. Although for this money you can even buy online from Eaton. However, the online one is not suitable for an apartment - there is a lot of noise from constantly thrashing fans, which, moreover, will mercilessly suck the dust inside. Therefore, I settled on this model. Until I regretted it. Two fans are very quiet. Periodically, a rustling sound is heard (other series of APC UPSs suffered from this as well), most likely from a charger ... Maybe some kind of choke, like on old mothers. But, in general, it does not rustle strongly and for a short time, it does not bother me too much. But the fans themselves work constantly at low speeds and, accordingly, one of them sucks the dust. Therefore, I bought another 12cm magnetic filter (a filter with a mesh, which simply magnetically attaches to the case) for the blower fan. It seems to catch something, there is a lot of dust :) I also bought 3 blocks of Hyperline SHT19-9SH-2.5IEC sockets (by rearranging the ears, they can be screwed to a flat surface, such as a table), so that it will be enough for everything. 27 outlets! Now 16 are employed (3 imported monitors, laptops - 2 pieces, a system unit, network storage, 2 pairs of speakers, headphones - 1 piece, phone, clock, lamp, phone charger, router, IP camera and iron). For periodically disconnected devices, I bought Navigator NAD-1E-CS-WH single-socket switches. The load on the upsik is 304 watts on average. Keeps it for about an hour. The web muzzle is comfortable. The LCD screen is informative. In new firmwares, you can turn it off or turn it off by timeout. It is bad, of course, that in this series it is impossible to regularly hook additional. battery packs, but for home it is not necessary if you think about it. But still a minus. It's just that if there was a port, it means oops is designed for very long-term operation from batteries (you can hook up auto batteries without any reservations). Well, oops lived up to expectations. Quiet, you can sleep in the room. Compact enough metal. the body is made soundly. The capacity of the batteries is 34 a / h. P.S. I was joking about the iron :)

Disadvantages: - High price for home use; - Non-switchable display light (maybe just did not figure out how to do it yet) without the support of the Russian language; - There is a backlash of the rear panels of the sockets when connecting the cords (perhaps this is only in my sample);

Comment: Connected to it a system unit with two GTX 690 video cards and a 1200 W power supply, 27 "LCD monitor + 19" socket block in a rack to which are connected: 55 "LED TV panel with an ONKYO amplifier and four speakers + 1 NAS storage and 6 external I -Store of blocks, Playstation 3.
