Of course, from daily use, the hair is a little dry, but much less than from a hair dryer or tongs. For a good result, you must definitely warm up the curlers well. I have never tried to make curls with these curlers and I think that it will not work. I still don't know why the hardware is in the kit. Forgive me 5 years later. Now the top plastic cover has already cracked from constant heating, so when heating it I recommend opening it.
