Opinions from the Celestron AstroMaster 130 EQ

Roman S,
Advantages: Price, image quality. As the first telescope, the best choice in my opinion. No chromatic aberration. Disassemble and assemble quickly.
Disadvantages: Flimsy, sensitive mount, poor quality plastic. Bolts are often lost. Using a regular finder and poking your finger into the sky is the same thing. I never found a bag for him. The mirror collects dust and dew well.
Comment: The telescope is already seven years old. Despite the fact that the old mount is still intact. I bought an additional 4 mm eyepiece, a 2x barlow lens and changed the finder with a dot to a collimator. Now it hits exactly where you are pointing, even with a 4 mm eyepiece. M 31 (The Andromeda Galaxy is gorgeous and makes it clear how grand the universe is and how fragile our world is) I haven't learned how to position it by coordinates, I use sky maps, probably like most who do not have automatic guidance to objects. I let go of the screws and twist like a machine gun into a civilian one)) No one has presented filters yet, I look at the moon through sunglasses. To find objects I downloaded Stellarium to my laptop (it even shows the movement of artificial satellites in real time). I carry it with a fastened seat belt in the back seat, nothing has gotten off in it yet.

Advantages: Excellent quality of optics, appearance, reasonable price, even a beginner will master
Disadvantages: It's hard to say, probably not
Comment: I bought it for a sincere viewing, made my old dream come true. Personally, I really liked it, do not tear it off)) I ordered from Moscow, received it quickly in just 3 days. The set is standard. The assembly is reliable, there is no backlash in the joints with the pipe, it is easy to assemble, I did it myself in a few seconds. Customization is easy too. High quality glass optics. The picture is excellent and does not shake. The craters on the moon through a telescope are simply awesome, they are well visible. Also, my son and I watched the Pleiades star cluster - very beautiful, clear and fairly large. An educational thing for both adults and children, we recommend

Advantages: Good image contrast, solid build quality, we liked it as a beginner. You can observe the sky and objects near the house. They just fit into the budget, bought 2 months ago for 22980r with a set of lenses in a box.
Disadvantages: The only thing is that at high magnification, the image shakes slightly, but everything is pretty good
Comment: Opportunities are very good !! Suitable not only for beginners, for amateurs, I think too. High quality optics, 100% glass. It is a pleasure to observe, although at first I was not particularly interested in space. From what he saw is simply breathtaking! The telescope is very powerful. The moon is viewed closely and clearly enough, it seems that you are about to touch your hand. Craters are awesome. Then they looked at Saturn, it was interesting to look at his ring. In addition, we watched the Milky Way, many stars in it, nebulae and clusters of stars. And with eyepiece 20, the telescope turns into a telescope and the image with it is not upside down. In general, they are happy with their choice to this day.

Advantages: worth the money for 100% !! Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Nebulae .. telescopes with a parabola from 50! That is, it is 2 times more expensive, while visually only under ideal observation conditions you will be able to notice something from the difference with the sphere.
Disadvantages: must be taken immediately with the motor, astro photos will be a bomb!
Comment: I thought for a long time, read different black-and-white lists of telescopes in which there are 160 telescope models (that is, everything that is on the market). I bought it and I'm happy!
