Strange degradation .... despite the fact that both batteries were released at the same time and were used in tandem with the APC SUA1000i, after 4 years 2 months one of them ordered to live a very long time.

And it happened in a very strange way. Visually, one of the pair of batteries was swollen and I thought that this particular battery was out of order. But in practice, the battery failed, which is not visually swollen, and generally serviceable, as it were. When trying to charge this battery with a car charger, it stood for half an hour and did not take a single additional ampere of current.

APC installs CSBs in its UPSs without modification, simply by affixing the nameplate. Therefore, buying them without the APC label is an obvious benefit for the same quality. For many years I have been installing them in my uninterruptible power supplies, have not failed, they serve for a long time. Well, do not forget that it is extremely undesirable to overheat them.
