Advantages:
This is my first echo sounder. Easy to use, fixed on the feeder line stronger, turned on the smartphone and go ahead to study the structure of the bottom and its inhabitants. Do not forget to download the application at home and check the connection with the echo sounder, while it is being charged, I immediately updated its software, there may not be a mobile Internet on the shore to download the application. When casting, the depth of the place and the presence of fish are visible. Gives a clear indication of the presence of fish and edge. For a feederist, this is a very useful thing, you can do without indirect methods of studying the bottom. In the first tests, it showed the declared characteristics in terms of range and information content.
Disadvantages:
At first, the shore did not want to connect independently, I thought that I would have to go home without result. After several casts, the echo sounder began to confidently provide information. When reaching the shore, you cannot pull quickly, otherwise the connection will disappear (he dives and the connection disappears). There was also a message popping up that it was too shallow or deep (after analysis, I decided that it wrote so where there is a lot of underwater vegetation). It is inconvenient to hold the phone and throw it over, you need either an assistant or fix the phone to something for easy observation.
Comment:
The impressions from the echo sounder are positive, approximately what I expected when choosing. There are subtleties that still need to be dealt with. The application software has a backlog of interesting future sonar applications, even in the initial version. Of course, in the Pro + version, everything is much more interesting (probably), but for a non-professional fisherman, this is already a huge breakthrough.
