Opinions from the Defender Redragon Saturn
Yandex.Market data
Advantages:
- the sticks were pleasantly surprised, the move is soft and linear, and most importantly - clear, there is no such thing that it is not clear in which direction you press - I am not a fan of vibration feedback, but here it seemed to me quite acceptable, while the vibration motors do not weigh too much, in general the gamepad is enough light - a normal wire that is not particularly felt during use, long - normal triggers with a soft linear stroke, how analog they are - I don't know, I haven't checked them thoroughly, but judging by the usual screw test, they have not just 2 positions, but evenly change the state along as you press it - a fairly convenient form, after a long game your hands do not get tired - it works without problems on PC and PS3 (nothing needs to be configured, it is picked up and detected immediately)
Disadvantages:
- the quality of the buttons: L1 and R1 dangle and rattle a little (this is not critical, it does not affect their work), they could have been done normally; not the best cross, but generally works fine; the central button, when released, beats against the body and creates a sound of impact on the plastic, also not critical; the responsiveness and repetition of button presses are not at the highest level, I don't know, maybe it will develop better over time, maybe this is corrected with Turbo, so far I have not checked this moment; there will be a slight limitation in fast action games; compared to the DualShock3, it feels like the buttons cannot be pressed very quickly one after the other; - the first (probably all the others too) connection indication LED gives off light to the left stick, it looks ugly, it was possible to make either an LED that shines only outward, or a stick that does not let light through, or even stick separate LEDs under the sticks; - you have to reach for the "1" button a little (Y for Xbox or triangle for PS), although the shape is good, but it could be better.
Comment:
This review is the first impression, I don't know how the device will behave further, but it can help someone with the purchase, because if you write it in a year, the device may no longer be on sale. In general, a normal gamepad for emulators and not too fast games on a PC; on PS3 as a backup option for a rainy day - it will work (even Gran Turismo can be played normally), as a main option - hardly; some shortcomings could be corrected without increasing the cost, some only with a rise in price, all the same, the price must be taken into account.

Advantages:
Good build, in general there is no wobbling and looks reliable, at the first connection I did not even install the driver, everything was installed by itself.
Disadvantages:
The difference in colors with gamepads from PS and XBox, sometimes it is uncomfortable, you see on the screen that you need to click on blue, but in fact it is a different color, but over time you get used to it.

Advantages:
Low price, and quality was not compromised. It is always recognized, without any additional firewood. Two input modes. Adequate crosspiece (unlike XBOX 360)
Disadvantages:
The mode switch button is located right under the ring fingers, it is very difficult not to press it during a passionate game. With intensive play on the cross, the thumb starts to get tired, because I had to deflect it very much.
Comment:
the best gamepad in its price segment
September 26, 2018, Birobidzhan
Advantages:
Extremely high quality and cheap joystick. I bought it for the games in the rally simulator and it was right. 1. The quality of the plastic is good. It is very comfortable in the hands and does not slip. Compared to Logitech, the handles are noticeably longer and have a more ergonomic shape. All parts are adjusted in size, the gaps are small, which gives the impression that you are holding a rather expensive joystick. 2. The buttons are pressed clearly and softly (the quality of plastic and rubber bands under the buttons is at the level of expensive joysticks). 3. Nothing dangles or rattles - the gamepad is reliably assembled. Second only to expensive models like PS Dualshock4 and XBOX ONE. 4. The cross is a little tight, although this is a matter of habit. After an hour of playing, the effect of the tight cross was gone. 5. GAS and BRAKE triggers work smoothly and accurately, and precisely follow the shape of PS Dualshock4. It is very convenient to play, as if in the hands of an expensive joystick from SONY 6. The upper front buttons L1 and R1 rattle a little, but they work clearly. Although what do I demand from a cheap joystick ?! 7. Vibration is just an exact copy of the PS Dualshock4 (maybe a little less active). I still can't believe that I got all this for such ridiculous money! 8. Now the analog sticks. They work smoothly and clearly. In the rally game, I was just delighted. The upper part of the sticks is made of soft non-slip rubber with small vertical stripes. Feels very comfortable. The dimple in the middle of the stick helps to push them, but the button is very tight. 9. If in some games you need to program a button for frequent clicking, then you need to hold down the TURBO button and press the desired button. Then the selected key will operate in intermittent mode. You can make an analogue of the ABS system in races or put on shooting in shooters with single cartridges - a useful function. To reset this mode, hold down the CLEAR button and press the desired key.
Disadvantages:
1. Very tight pressing on the sticks. Perhaps the boys will be more comfortable as their arms are stronger. 2. The upper front buttons L1 and R1 rattle a little (yes, I find fault with the little things) 3. The cross is a little tightly pressed (although as anyone)
Comment:
I say all these feelings based on comparison with PS Dualshock4 and XBOX ONE joysticks (I already have these joysticks). SATURN bought the Redragon joystick solely for comparison. On the whole, the impressions from Redragon remain very positive. I think that both mice and keyboards from Redragon will be of sufficient quality, although I have not tested it.

Advantages:
-Convenient, almost on par with the DS4, and that means a lot. -The quality of materials and workmanship is excellent, especially considering the price. -Just Gorgeous Compatibility. PC with both Xinput drivers and wooden Dinput, plus PS3.
Disadvantages:
-LED, about which everyone who could have said. -The wire could be made longer. For a computer, norms, but to the console from the couch may not be enough. -Vibration is average, but it works very quietly. -A beautiful design is completely spoiled by stupid numbers on the front buttons, which, moreover, mean nothing in essence. In addition, on a purely intuitive level, it creates associations with cheap rattles, which this device is by no means. -Who came up with the name? Why Redragon instead of RedDragon? It literally means Re-Dragon. Some kind of game.
Comment:
I haven't seen this value for money in terms of gamepads for a long time. I myself was personally looking for a wired gamepad to use with the Nintendont program on the Wii, and luckily it worked, although I had to tinker with the settings.Super Mario Sunshine was a pleasure to play, and if you've played 3D Mario games, you know just how sensitive they are to controls. However, next I checked the compatibility with PS3. Everything here is also gorgeous. I was especially surprised that all the buttons are sensitive to pressing like on a real Dualshock 3. It is really unclear why this is, given that this feature was used in two and a half games. By the way, Sixaxis is not. And on the PC everything is gorgeous, you put it in Xinput mode and you don't bother. In general, for a rather modest price, I got a gorgeous gamepad for all occasions, which, of course, is nice. Special thanks for the Turbo buttons, now I can go through MGS4 without fear of grabbing a heart attack. I advise.

Advantages:
I inserted it and it worked. Emulates an XBOX 360 controller and therefore works in all games where this controller is supported
Disadvantages:
Small dead zones in triggers and joysticks, but if the game has a dead zone setting, then this drawback can be smoothed out
Comment:
A cheap gamepad, lightweight and convenient, in all games that support gamepads is recognized without problems

Advantages:
• Easy to connect. Insert and play. • Small dead zones for sticks and triggers. For this money, just a cannon. • Fits comfortably in the hands
Disadvantages:
• Not long enough wire. • Buttons rattle slightly when shaken.
Comment:
For the money, the gamepad is great. The presence of vibration feedback allows you to immerse yourself in the game with your head.

Advantages:
Good build quality: nothing creaks, no backlash. Very comfortable to hold
Disadvantages:
There is no normal instruction on how to use it, charge it, set it up, etc. This is my first gamepad and I have to get to everything empirically
Comment:
It is simple and inexpensive. I don't think he will live long (me + sons). But it's fun to play with him, although it's still unusual
