Reviews about EZ AU17dvrm
Quality candles
No
My Priora's mileage has exceeded sixty thousand kilometers. After changing the engine air filter, I remembered that it was time to change the spark plugs. Glancing on the way to the car shop, I was surprised to find that there are three types of candles offered for Priora from one manufacturer, namely, from Robert Bosch Saratov LLC. An interesting phrase, but of course they were made in the Russian Federation in the city of Engels, Saratov region. Outwardly, all three blisters with candles are very similar, so I had to go back to my car and take out a spare, used candle from the factory, which I threw there after replacing the engine spark plugs for another 30,000 km. As it turned out, there is a difference between three packs of candles on the showcase of an auto shop: in power and the size of the edges of the candles for different candle keys. For my sixteen-valve engine, with a volume of 1.6 liters, it is precisely these AU17DVRM STANDARD candles with edges for a sixteen candle wrench that are needed. Please remember.
These candles are ideal for domestic VAZ cars, as well as for some models of foreign cars, a list of which can be found on the back of the blister packaging.
This set of spark plugs honestly cares for its 30 thousand kilometers, on a Priore with a sixteen valve engine, without any problems and unscheduled replacements. The engine runs smoothly on them, the candles themselves have never been cleaned during long-term operation. The color of carbon deposits on the candles, after the end of their service life, is light brown, which indicates the correct mode of operation. You can certainly drive more on the old set of candles, but why risk the coils. High-voltage priors coils are much more expensive than spark plugs, so it is still better to replace the spark plugs with a set in time. I do not change the spark gap of 1 mm on the candles, I screw in new candles as they are. Replacing them is not difficult, you can easily change it yourself, having previously removed the high-voltage coils. To replace, you need only two keys: one end candle for "16" and one open end or end for "10".
I recommend buying, the quality is excellent and inexpensive at a price.
not expensive

Good day! For 10 years now, and having had more than one car during this time, I have been using the same spark plugs. It will be about candles of Russian production from the EZ-Standard company, which is located in the city of Engels. These are spark plugs А17ДВРМ1.0 for injection engines. Although the difference is not clear to me, I have used the same candles before on a car with a carburetor type of engine. The candles are not of bad quality, the engine runs smoothly and steadily on them. The engine starts from the first crankshaft revolution. It also starts up well in cold weather. I use A17DVRM1.0 candles for 4-5 thousand kilometers, after which I buy new ones. Our candles, Russian, are not expensive, their price is 180 rubles, I believe that it is not expensive if we proceed from the calculation that I change them 2 times a year. Recommend.
price, quality if not fake.

Well, I think that many have been at a crossroads more than once when choosing candles, what to buy, which is better? So I thought so once, when I realized that my old candles were already leaving (it began to start badly, the consumption became higher) and now the torment began to find candles suitable for the car and pocket, and after reading a lot of reviews, forums, walking around the market, I decided to buy not expensive domestic candles, which turned out to be А17ДВРМ1.0, and after installing them on the car I was pleasantly surprised, the start-up became better, the traction became more interesting, I really liked the candles, and the price is good.
The only thing I can say is that fake candles have been noticed recently, pay attention to the packaging and the print quality.
Great quality at a low cost
Didn't find
When going to the store, the question always arises which candles to buy? At the moment, there are a lot of manufacturers and it becomes very difficult to choose a quality candle. Previously, if you could choose candles by price, now you will most likely buy a fake at the price, since expensive products are much more often faked. And standing in front of the window, I saw Engels candles, they are produced at the Russian plant BOSH, having felt and twisted, I liked the quality, and the price is much lower than for candles from other manufacturers. I bought it. Imagine my surprise that Russian cheap candles will work like a clock in any frost without floating revolutions and misfiring. So great candles, I advise everyone to try, who has no desire to overpay for the brand.
price quality availability
until the last spark it is impossible to determine how long the candle has to live
I put it on the 2004 VAZ-21140 (a transitional model without a catalyst, lambda adsorber and phase sensor, but already an injector)
Today there was another change, so it became interesting what people write. (although it always seemed to me that because of their cost, there shouldn't even be questions.)
My opinion: Candles for that kind of money should always be in the glove compartment. For half a year, more than enough (10-25 thousand km) then farts, sneezes, detonates. In winter they never let us down, even foreign cars watched with incomprehension how easily my "dinosaur" roared at -34.
Why half a year: being the owner of obd1, no diagnostician could make a diagnosis when "the swallow limped" ... and lo and behold! Replaced candles gave her the "Kremlin pill."
I advise you to take, but change no more than 15 thousand km.
In comparison with boshes and alphas, I did not feel the difference.
