Gletcher PM 1951 reviews
The cylinder is inserted into the store, and not into the Blowbek pistol The famous manufacturer high-quality assembly of 16 balls in the store, unpretentious in maintenance
Expensive store (due to the fact that it is combined with the cylinder compartment) A slight discrepancy with the dimensions of this PM'a
I purchased this pistol in 2016, I liked the price-quality ratio. Gletcher pistols have long been famous for their quality, and here we are offered a copy of the PM, and even with a blowback (imitation of the slide) at an excellent price - about 6500r. This pistol is made of silumin, but this does not mean that it will fall apart - I managed to shoot from it about 600 times, and during this time it became absolutely nothing, and I have never cleaned it yet. In order to make the first shot, you need to cock the trigger, just like on a real weapon. The initial declared speed of the shot is 100m / s, in fact - from 95 to 105m / s on the first 5-9 balls, then lower and lower. This speed is due to the fact that part of the gas cylinder is spent on the stroke of the bolt carrier (blowback), but I do not consider this a disadvantage, because a pistol with a blowback gives completely different sensations from shooting, the shooter gets a light recoil to the hand. The capacity of the magazine is 16 balls of explosive, the gas cylinder is also inserted into the magazine, and not into the pistol itself. The pistol's handle is made of plastic, not silumin, like the real Makarov, and, unfortunately, it will not work to replace it with the original silumin, since the pistol itself is thicker than the original.
shoots far and powerful, inexpensive, looks like a combat, can be carried without a license
spray can quickly ends
in general, one day I decided to take pneumatics for myself (for self-defense), because there are a lot of people on the streets and I also walk at night. I decided not to bother and took a pistol of this sample, in general it is a good specimen for self-defense even when not loaded, it looks like a combat one, a gas canister is enough for half an hour if you actively use it (that is, if you shoot without a break) and so on for a day - two passive uses, because the gas escapes in it. You can buy such a pistol even in a fishing store like me. His bullets are copper and pierce iron 0.5 mm thick, a person will have a maximum bruise.
The metal body is a big plus and low consumption of CO2 gas. Convenience and practicality of this model.
Low power and bullet speed.
I would like to first say a few words about the origin. In 1951, a self-loading pistol created by Makarov entered service in the USSR. It was developed as a replacement, instead of the outdated revolvers and TTs, which were in service in those years.For its simplicity, reliability and efficiency, the pistol is highly valued and is still used today.
I bought this air pistol a year ago for target shooting training. The power and range of the pistol is not very high, about 10-20 meters.
Of course, the model differs from the original version: the parameters of the handle have been changed, the trigger and receiver have also not been deprived of changes. But this does not affect the pistol itself. Still, the pistol is intended for recreational shooting. And this pistol justifies its cost at the current time.
1) Made of metal (there are practically no plastic parts);
2) Comfortable and fits well in the hand;
3) Auto-cocking of the trigger with each shot;
4) Fairly accurate.
1) One CO2 cylinder is enough for about 50 shots;
2) The clip is inconveniently removed (but this is a drawback of the original);
3) Balloon and bullets in one clip.
In general, I was very pleased with the choice (a good toy, there is even a small recoil when fired).
I took this model precisely because of the blowback system (when fired, the bolt folds back, like a real pistol, although this increases the consumption of carbon dioxide).
The shots themselves are not very powerful (even rather weak), but this was not important for me, since this is not a combat pistol, but shooting at targets or bottles is the very thing. The workmanship is very good.
