You no longer need to scoop wet potato peels out of the sink and transfer them to the bucket. Anything that easily gets rancid in the heat (fish, meat) and begins to smell, to put it mildly, throughout the kitchen - everything is there !!! There will be no more dirt and stench, there will be no more disgust in front of a garbage can. And the bucket itself will have to be taken out much less often.
I have dreamed of a chopper for a long time. Since then, as on one of the forums devoted to repair, I learned that there is such a miracle of technology that crushes all food waste.
And so we finally finished renovating the kitchen and installed this thing.
We chose long and meticulously between Bono crush and InSink Erator... We finally chose the latest model InSink Erator Evolution 250, because heas quiet and powerful as possible, grinds almost everything, well, American-made with a 6-year warranty.
We have a double sink and a very large space deficit. They installed it under the fruit bowl. There is a bucket under the main sink. By the way, this turned out to be very convenient. In the sink, you can continue to wash the dishes, and all cleaning in the fruit bowl.
The rubber shutter plug prevents anything from accidentally entering the chopper. Waste needs to be pushed there either by hand or with a pusher of some kind. Pushing is not even the right word, everything happens easily and effortlessly)))
Can be closed with a lattice cap also from the set
It crushes almost everything. Bones, cartilage, fish, egg shells, even onion skins, which some grinders have a big problem with. Walnut shells!
Be careful only with raw chicken film, raw skin. If a little - then you can, but in large quantities it is better not. It can be wound around mechanisms and will have to be cleaned later if it clogs.
Works oh-oh-oh-chen quietly... To be honest, we expected more noise and were pleasantly surprised. Especially if it grinds something soft, such as cleaning. If there are bones, then you can already hear how they beat on the drum, but still quietly.
In general, I am very happy, and more than me, probably, only my husband, who now has to take out the garbage much less often))) So I recommend. The thing is not cheap, but if the funds allow, then the unit is very, very useful.
