KAYO YX125 Classic / Basic reviews
4 strokes, fast, easy to operate, easy to repair, fire!
all described above
For those who doubt to take a Pit bike or not, the opinion is unequivocal - TAKE!
What can be explained about this beast, a single light motorcycle, weight 70 kg, I will not tell you in size, those interested can look at sales sites, without the front wheel and with the rear monoamarizer unscrewed, it fits into the trunk of a VAZ 2111. It has a 124 cm2, 9-11 l engine ... from. depending on which motor manufacturer, these horses are not just enough for a person weighing up to 100 kg - they are in abundance :) Goat with 1, 2 and 3 gears. Not intended for public roads, does not have any documents, as well as lighting equipment on board. In general, you cannot ride it around the city. They will accelerate to 80-90 km / h on a standard star and up to 110 on a star with fewer teeth.
A great motorcycle for walking in the woods, fishing or just driving on rough terrain. Four-stroke engine, no need to mix oil with gasoline. Extremely easy to assemble and repair.
Now about the disadvantages I noticed in operation mode:
1. The chain is standard rubber, it stretches very quickly, you have to tighten it before each ride. After replacing, I pull it every 5-6 rides. (My ride usually lasts 2-3 hours)
2. Terrible vibration at maximum speed.
3. Because of vibrations, you have to constantly tighten the unwinding bolts.
4. Standard tires wear off very well on asphalt surfaces.
5. The shock absorber begins to creak after water procedures, you have to smear it before each trip.
6. Quite loud and aggressive exhaust, although this is a plus :)
The disadvantages compared to the joy that this device delivers are simply negligible :)
I advise everyone to purchase.
Price, quality, reliability, weight, just right for beginners!
This is a pit bike, and you can't ride it around the city ...
Over a year ago I bought a Kayo 125 motorcycle and was very pleased. I have wanted a motorcycle for a long time, but only a year ago I realized my dream. Before that, I had never even come close to a motorcycle, but I have long wanted to buy one. Before coming to the salon, I read a lot about this pit bike and even then I realized that this is exactly what I needed. When I came to the salon, found out more about him, I realized that he would be mine. I sat down, turned it on and realized that it was just perfect for me. The price / quality ratio made me very happy. For more than a year of using this motorcycle in it, I only changed the oil after running in and that's it! Although I was a little afraid that it was "Chinese" and that it would break down often, I still bought it and was satisfied. I recommend all beginner motorcyclists to start with it, because little power will not let you kill too much, although it can go 110 km / h without even straining.
1) Price 2) Comprehensibility of the design 3) The appearance is the best among competitors 4) The absence of TCP (no need to register, no need for A category rights).
1) The need to broach immediately after purchase 2) "Dampness" of the fasteners, some nuts were lost during operation, even despite the preliminary broaching.
Good day to all!
I bought the Kayo YX125 pit bike spontaneously, but did not regret buying it. It was like this: in January he gave a lift to a colleague from work and he asked to stop by a motorcycle dealership, where a seasonal sale was held, and he wanted to buy himself a motorcycle jacket. While he was choosing his outfit, I was looking at pit bikes.
I talked to a consultant and understood: "I want to!" Among motolands, snow leopards, etc., I chose Kayo (a colleague has already advised this). I took the basic on 17/14 wheels, because I considered it the most suitable: the basic 17/14 cost 53,000 rubles, and the classic 59,000 rubles. I considered six thousand for a headlamp quite expensive.
Immediately I bought spiked wheels (only 2500 for the front and 2000 for the rear) and a helmet.
The operation turned out to be almost hassle-free, I drove 35 hours on it (and all this from January to March).
Since thanks to him I got hooked on a motorcycle theme, it was decided to buy something more serious for the highway, and sell the pit bike.
I sold for a month, at a price I lost 13,000 (the pit was sold for 40,000).
Power to weight ratio, Japanese carburetor, good build, well welded frame
Chain, knitting needles
2 months ago I took a pit bike Kayo - I didn’t regret it. There is a lot of foolishness in it, despite its size. A sufficiently powerful motorcycle, in principle, suitable for driving both on asphalt and off-road, only on asphalt the tread wears off faster, well, this is understandable) For 2 months of work, Kayo shows itself perfectly! Nothing has broken yet, it would seem that the plastic is flabby and not strong, but it keeps well. The only thing that needs more attention is the chain and the spokes. For two months, the knitting needles never flew out (they jumped over bumps quite a few times), but the chain had to be tightened 3, otherwise I think this is the norm for a Chinese chain, but it's still better to replace it immediately. In general, as I said, the pit bike is very good and outperforms many analogues, for example Irbis 125 TTP. Cayo is good, both in price and quality.
price, appearance, there is a headlight, at least electrics, a sea of tuning
the oil pump easily breaks down, there is no TCP, at least electricians, but she also loves the head, a weak engine, a short seat for my height 173cm
It has both pros and cons, but do you want to know about its flaws? I will say right away if you are confidently thinking of purchasing it and there is a choice between irbiz125 and kayo125, the choice is better to stop on kayo 125, because it has 17 * 14 wheels with higher permeability. The flip fork is strong enough and reliable, the frame has weak points such as the shock absorber mount. The muffler is not very well installed, it passes through the frame and there are cases when the air filter melts, by the way, this is an important point, the air filter does not have a box filter for this after washing, after water procedures the pit bike may not start, but also the cause of starting problems may be an electrician, i.e. . the spark plug cap allows moisture to pass through and ignition breakdowns occur. I advise you to immediately throw out the carburetor and buy a normal one to get rid of the notorious failure in the engine, which shakes your nerves when accelerating. By the way, there is a lot of tuning on a pit bike just the sea. It often has to be repaired, all the fasteners are of poor quality, the bolts often burst, the threads are literally torn by hand. But these are all minor flaws with which you can measure up that can be gradually eliminated. The most important thing is to change the oil on time, since the engine does not have an oil filter, there is only a stupid metal mesh, it is impossible not to replace it, it is not possible to clean it without disassembling the engine. The chain stretches quickly, it is better to replace it with a reinforced one and not try to save on it.
