They have the fastest matrix type, and, accordingly, the input lag is minimal. But a difference of 5 or 10 ms cannot be recognized by the eye. At the same time, Samsung qled has its advantages: it is a fast operating system, an external unit for connecting everything, and a long service life. But in the end I settled on 55OLEDB8. The difference in price is decent, about 30 thousand rubles. But I think it's worth it. The picture quality is just bombing. Especially if you switch to Oled from some old led TV. I bought a TV mainly for games on the console and for watching movies. The telly copes with both tasks perfectly. Games on ps4 shine with new colors, the picture is bright and juicy where you need it. Smart is very convenient and fast. The built-in youtube application plays 4k videos without any brakes.

The picture on digital air and 720p is what it is, not very ... After 4K it seems like soap, but the psyche is such a thing that after an hour of watching the air you get used to the norms.

Disadvantages: LG + channels - 1 (one). I expected to completely switch to the built-in IP TV application, especially since it can be loaded when the TV is turned on. In fact, the add-on (from MeGoGo in my opinion) turned out to be useless. It shows, of course, but the interface is terrible, just unbearable and unusable. There is no sorting of channels, there is no quick access to the program and lists, there is no search, the navigation is disgusting. The terrestrial channels run only in the Moscow time zone, while the quality of terrestrial channels is worse than digital, the flipping of channels is the opposite. I highly do not recommend it, and the presence of such a non-disconnectable product is frustrating - I would like to disable it and remove it from the list of sources forever. But there are great alternatives in the store, it is a pity that they cannot be added to the list of sources.

Voice control / search in online cinemas works well, it looks badly on YouTube, but there are apparently questions to Google. Minus for two never used buttons in the most convenient places and I would like to move the volume / channels a little lower.WebOs - 5 ++. For the OS engineers need to erect a monument. Instant mastering by all family members, quickly, conveniently, simply. I was pleasantly surprised. Wi-Fi 5 GHz flies, the most "heavy" films of 60 ... 80 GB "eat" without the slightest hesitation. Yotube is comfortable and fully functional, the phone picks up instantly. Bottom line: it turned out to create an omnivorous media center with a top-end picture, with an extremely convenient and ingeniously simple control interface, to which one power wire goes (the digital TV antenna is hidden behind the screen), controlled by one remote control, which completely covered all needs and wishes. The only disappointment is the inability to remove LG + channels from the list of sources.

Advantages: The image after correct adjustment, color, contrast, viewing angles are wonderful, no glare, OLED in its beauty. The sound for PLA (I did not hear SLB without a built-in subwoofer) not to say that it sounds great (and the upper height does not give a dip on the midbass even at the bottom), of course, if you plan as a home theater, then definitely SLB (cheaper) and external acoustics, but for a compact body sounds decent in the bedroom is fine. A very convenient remote control with a gyroscope (built-in mouse), good functionality and a bundle with a TV. The operating system is quite nimble, the functionality and design are not magical but sufficient, the basic settings are always at hand, although if a little deeper, you can already bury yourself, all the software in demand is there: online cinemas, an omnivorous player with DLNA support, a decent browser, LG + - 20 free online TV channels (in mediocre quality), in general, a sufficient modern set.

Comment: Hanging in the living room SONY 65XD9005 (DirectLED) in the bedroom decided to try OLED, option one in the selected price. PLA took the search for external acoustics not expected. Satisfied, not to say that OLED is head and shoulders above, and for light. the room is more suitable for LCD (the maximum brightness is higher, there is no fear of fading, and black in external light is black), but in the twilight OLED looks noticeably more pleasant, dark scenes, especially with bright inclusions, look very nice, there are no backlighting, and the viewing angles are excellent. The remote control is practically ideal in terms of functionality (it would be possible to just move the buttons a little), the built-in mouse on the gyroscope is wonderful and IMHO necessary on all smart TVs, only switching on works via IR, then it switches to the radio channel, here Sony has something to learn. Before buying, I read a lot of reviews and was a little worried about banding and broken pixies: Broken pixies are nonsense, yes they are, but on a 4k panel they are so small even on a flat background from 2 meters away, and if there is no marriage, they are always burning (very rare), then you don't even have to look for and count the non-burning ones - there is no sense. Banding, yes there is, to one degree or another at all OLEDs, this is a conditionally lack of technology at this stage. I came across not the best panel, the strip in the middle of the screen was sometimes visible in the dark, not only on the fill, but also on the content, but after a few days the panel "warmed up" the strip disappeared, though the left bottom slightly darkened, but this is not visible on the content. In my opinion, the problem is in vain inflated, if I did not know about the topic initially and did not specifically check it, I would most likely not notice it myself, it is not visible in real content. It is better than the ghosting characteristic of direct led or edge led strips, you should not refuse to buy OLED for this reason. Checking the banding when buying is problematic (complete darkness is needed) and, as experience has shown, it is not particularly indicative, the panel levels out over time. In the photo for perfectionists I laid out my banding, in reality it looked a little better than in the photo of the phone.

Comment: Banding. As I understand it, this is a slight spotty effect on the matrix during transitions from completely black to gray shades in strictly isolated, complex cases. Pay attention to the difference between B8 and B8SLA TVs, the second is a cheaper version. Differs in the presence of subwoofers (the B8 even has two). The price does not differ much in online stores (2-3t.r.), but the sound is radically different. In general, the impressions are only positive: the colors are juicy, the controls are excellent, 4k is a pleasure to watch. I use it in conjunction with PS4 Pro for 4k games - great! The only thing I don't like is the HDR mode, some colors are strange for my taste ...Before choosing a TV, I watched them live in the nearest large hardware store, but the consultants themselves are poorly versed in the model lines from LG and carried outright nonsense :) Therefore, in order not to confuse, keep in mind: B8, C8 and so on with the number 8 - this is the 2018 model line ... C7, C7V, etc. from 7 - 2017. From 6 - 2016. There is really no point in overpaying for the C8. The difference is only in the processors, but live you can hardly notice the difference in image processing (4-pass instead of 2-pass).

Advantages: Picture. The most convenient remote pointer. The previous TV I also had LG with two remotes (IR and BT). It's a great idea to combine two in one with a great implementation. Good sound (I have an SLB model without built-in subwoofers). DTS and DD sound decoders, including HD formats. Ability to simultaneously output sound to TV speakers and optics. Connecting Bluetooth headphones with APTX (though I don't use it, because there is an external translator with APTX low latency, connected via optics). Design - the stand is transparent, the panel seems to float in the air.

Disadvantages: Strange image presets. Everything is twisted to the maximum, the picture is "ripped out". Designed apparently for a demonstration in the bright hall of the store, but for the home it is completely inapplicable. For example, the default brightness OLED is 100. For normal viewing, 30 was enough for me. 100Mbit network port (relevant for those who watch 4K TV from a computer / NAS). I have an external player, so it's not critical. Dedicated IVI button on the remote. I don't need it, but it is. 3D is no longer in this TV, well, okay.

Comment: I took it from a large chain discounter in an interest-free installment plan for 2 years, it came out at a price comparable to the best LED TVs. In general, I decided not to bother and take this TV, although there was an opportunity to watch another. The closest older model C8 features an updated processor. The difference in price is quite tangible, about 30 thousand. I thought that overpaying was inappropriate. The announced 2019 LG OLED models promise HDMI 2.1 with support for 4K120Hz, who plans to use with PC / future consoles I recommend to wait. And for watching BD UHD (of which the network is already in bulk), this TV is perfect.

I turned on the built-in Pixel Cleaner program - after 10 minutes, the pixel returned to normal working condition. I hope this will not happen often.

Comment: The best TV for this money (in the range of up to 100 thousand rubles). I chose-read-compared for about 3 months, eventually opting for it. Don't be fooled by the competitor's marketing name QLED, LG has a Nano cell in this category. Oled, on the other hand, is a completely different level, the technology of the future (it is not for nothing that these displays are installed in all flagship iPhones X-max). According to all tests (American, German, English) OLED B8 / C8 is the best TV for 2 years in a row, by a wide margin from QLEDs. In reality, only Sony OLED is better than this TV, but it will cost 1.5-2 times more. Yandex market, please note that there are 2 models of this TV - B8 (which you have in the picture) and B8S (SLB), I advise you to divide them into 2 different categories so as not to confuse buyers.The difference is that the cheaper B8S (SLB) with a "glass" stand from the year before last B6 has weaker acoustics and lacks a subwoofer (speaker power 20 watts), the "full-fledged" B8 has 40 watts and a built-in subwoofer. The difference of about 7 thousand rubles justifies itself in favor of B8. However, if you expect to take TV for home theater (not intending to use built-in speakers), then take the cheaper B8S (SLB) without any problems

Advantages: 1. Perfect black color 2. Quick menu and turn on 3. HDR10 in games is just great 4. TV has a cursor and it is controlled by movements of the remote control in the air! (omagad O_O)
