Opinions from the Logitech M720 Triathlon Black Bluetooth
Yandex.Market data
Advantages:
-The ability to switch between 3 devices -The possibility of the broadest customization of the keys to suit your needs -Work via Bluetooth and Unifying-whistle (included) at the same time -Dual-mode scrolling -Long battery life -A tenacious rubberized surface that has not been erased for more than a year when working 12 / 24 - Instant awakening when working through the Unifying whistle
Disadvantages:
-Slightly slowed down awakening when working with Bluetooth -When working with a free scroll, there are random rewind operations (it is understandable with a bearing in the wheel)
Comment:
Bought as the last hope for wireless. Because Wireless mice from Microsoft and Dell peeled off (the first) and constantly lost connection (the second). And also for the need for greater manipulations than standard clicks with the left and right keys + scroll-click with the wheel. The mouse met my expectations completely. I did not specifically write a review initially, but only after a year of use. Because I use two computers for work, the ability to instantly switch one (special) mouse button between them was just a salvation, because you don't have to pay much attention and have a whole heap of devices on the table It is also possible to configure device switching without pressing a button at all, but only by moving the mouse cursor to the screen, this function is configured in the Logitech Options utility and works if both computers are connected to the same network. The mouse works in tandem with the Logitech K380 keyboard, also with the function of switching between devices with a button. LogitechOptions allowed us to customize the behavior of the mouse keys in various programs, and in conjunction with the program for remapping the keys and mouse buttons (search the Internet so that there is no advertisement), it turned into just a combine. I counted 48 actions (not counting the pop-up menus with the choice of the necessary options), which I have performed with 10 mouse keys. I really like the possibility of controlled and free scrolling. When you need to rewind a lot, press the key above the wheel, it is freed from the stepping and you can accelerate the rewind to the speed limited by the processor power. Yes, the buttons are a little greasy and the surface relief in the area of the thumb is no longer so noticeable, but compared to the peeling rubber from the sides and wheels after a year of use, the Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4000 is simply a survival champion. My recommendation for people looking to get the most out of their devices and their time with them. For standard jobs that don't require multitasking, there are cheaper options.

Advantages:
It fits perfectly in the hand, quite a good sensor (even for games), lightweight, bluetooth works perfectly
Disadvantages:
If you do not touch for a couple of minutes, then there are problems with the wheel - you turn it, but there is no reaction, not even a drawback, but rather a feature of exiting the "sleep" mode

Advantages:
1. bluetooth smart - you can bind to 3 devices (to 4m - 4th through the unifying receiver, included in the kit) and instantly switch between them 2. Power is still a regular AA battery (one), not a proprietary built-in battery 3. There is a place in the case under the receiver. 4. On Amazon, you can buy a cover for it. 5. A wheel with high-speed scrolling (for some reason now there are very few mice in Logitech with this feature) and tilts (this is not visible in the photo, but it is really inclined) 6. the shape of the body is curved, although my hand still does not fit, but I like this form much more than the flat type anywhere MX 2.7. 3 additional buttons on which you can hang keyboard shortcuts (albeit programmatically through the driver, but nevertheless it works for itself)
Disadvantages:
1. controversial coating material. It may be nicer than a smooth coating, but if it gets dirty, it will most likely be killed and the mouse will have to be thrown out. For me - the most significant drawback of this model 2. Sensor. Small resolution (1000 - suitable for HD resolution, for fullhd it will not be enough) and the location is not in the center, but with an offset to the side, well, simple optics, not a laser.
Comment:
A fairly successful model turned out - according to reviews on the internet I thought it would be unkillable (the same anywhere mx 2 loses with a built-in battery, which, according to reviews, is enough for about a year, after which the mouse can be thrown out), caught fire, bought it - but the ambush turned out to be not at all where I thought not in the sensor (it is quite enough for office work), but in the cover of the mouse - it is very easy to kill it, and not with scratches, but it is banal to stain it with something sticky and everything - most likely it will not be cleaned, but it is a pity - if not for that, it would be almost ideal mouse for the office on the road.

Advantages:
- Fully compatible with Mac without a tambourine and via Bluetooth - Support for gestures - Horizontal scrolling - Fits comfortably in the hand - Configuring all buttons (except for switching devices) in logitech tools - No brakes or lags when working - Works equally well on different surfaces, except glass
Disadvantages:
- The price could be more modest ... - The wheel is noisy and not very convenient to press (middle click), the buttons could also be quieter - There is not much "cheap" in the hand after Apple devices and even Microsoft Ergonomic Sculpt. If you shake, something rattles a little.
Comment:
For a very long time I chose a mouse for Mac, I was scared by the reviews that the connection was falling off or not connecting at all. Many mice do not have programmable buttons, which is a must to replace gestures on the Mac. I ordered this mouse and have no regrets! 5 stars. I don't see any competitors for such a price. It is convenient to swap the gestures for switching between screens so that it is familiar after the touchpad. A few facts: - quite weighty - the size is just right for my hand (more than average) - the plastic is not soft-touch, but pleasant - no traces of hands and fingers remain - the button under the thumb is pressed surprisingly very conveniently

Advantages:
Convenient mouse for office work. Great switchable wheel with fast scrolling just when you need it. The side buttons are exactly where you need it.A universal receiver that cannot be removed from a laptop. Potential to work with other devices and bluetooth. Long battery life
Disadvantages:
Does not work on glass - in some hotels the tables are covered with glass
Comment:
Took a replacement marathon mouse, which served for 7-9 years. Everything is the same, but a little more comfortable. Great mouse

Advantages:
- Lives from one AAA for over a year. - Works on both Unified and Bluetooth. - Three work profiles for three different devices (took the mouse, carried it to another room and connected it to the TV Box / laptop by pressing one button) - Very "hand-held", but this is obviously individual. Not for lefties. - Finally, it supports Logitech Options, and not the ancient Setpoint, which has not been updated for three years. - Back / forth buttons that every Logitech user is used to. Probably Logitech's best wireless mouse.
Disadvantages:
- Gamers will tell you that latency is too high. But this is not true. - "Invisible button" for gestures under the thumb. Better to turn it off immediately in Logitech Options. Too many random triggers.
Comment:
A sample of how to make wireless mice. If he dies, I'll buy the same one. Update from March 2019: The left button is dying. It does not stick (the mouse is clean), and the sensor starts to glitch unpleasantly. For example, you cannot press the left button and select the text - everything is "all over the place", i.e. highlights some random areas. I even booted to Live Linux from USB to eliminate the software component. He pulled out the batteries, knocked there, like until it was ok. But it is alarming. Somehow less than a year has passed since the purchase, and so far it seems too early for such jambs to get out. Lowered from 5/5 to 4/5 because it's aloe.

Advantages:
Materials, beautiful design
Disadvantages:
Wheel, weight, grip.
Comment:
At work, I have an M705 (it suits me completely, the duration of the work is fire), and at home I decided to try this one, because it looks more interesting, there is an additional one. buttons, etc. Materials look more expensive, but not to say that the rubber coating adds convenience. The first thing that unpleasantly surprised us was the weight of the mouse, and the M705 with two batteries feels lighter than this one with one. Further, it turned out that the wheel, to which there were no complaints on the M705, rattles unpleasantly here when scrolling, gives the impression of a lower quality - I did not expect it at all. And the most unpleasant thing is the grip, which manifests itself when moving the mouse from place to place - firstly, the back part outweighs, and secondly, the mouse tends to slip out of the hand, the finger clings to the buttons. On the M705, again, such problems do not arise, it is lighter, and when taken off the table, it confidently remains in the hand, besides, it can be balanced to taste by removing one battery (yes, it works on one), and put the second closer to the center or to the rear. In general, the mouse is good, but if you do not need bluetooth and additional buttons, then compared to the M705 this is a step back.

Advantages:
+ Bluetooth + Price (I also found a new one from my hands, packed for 80% of the market value) + Support for multiple connections + Two modes of operation of the wheel + Additional buttons (especially the lowest one built into the wall of the case, I don't remember the name)
Disadvantages:
- Wheel play (sometimes annoying) - In MacOS it is impossible to set different scroll settings on the mouse and on the touchpad, but here it is more a matter of habit
Comment:
I was looking for a full-size Bluetooth mouse. fell victim to Apple with a minimum of ports, and the small variations of the mice make my big brush suffer. The only drawback that I found was the increase in signal latency with a heavy load on the CPU, for sure there is such a problem in the case of Bluetooth, I don’t know about the whistle, I haven’t tried it.
12 December 2019
Advantages:
+ Excellent ergonomics + Body materials + Work on multiple devices + Availability of Bluetooth + Three customizable buttons
Disadvantages:
- Lack of Logitec Options on Linux - (see comment) Wheel play and Logitec support
Comment:
Great versatile mouse! The only significant drawback for me is the side play of the wheel. It does not affect horizontal scrolling, but it gives the impression of being defective / poorly built. I was very disappointed with the support of Logitec (ticket id # 1821716). When asked about the backlash, I was advised to "connect the mouse to all USB ports" and other nonsense that cannot fix the mechanical problem in any way. And after the question whether it is a marriage or not, they wrote the following: "We will not be able to pronounce the verdict, but we can confidently say that the mouse is not intended for such use - to knock on the wheel and touch it with your finger." that is, you cannot touch the mouse wheel with your finger. Further, ̶я̶ ̶б̶ы̶л̶ ̶п̶о̶с̶л̶а̶н̶ ̶ my ticket was closed by Logitec itself. Later I found an explanation for the backlash: youtube "How the Logitech Hyperscroll works". This is my second m720, from the first I worked for about 2 years (as far as I remember, the backlash on it was much less), changed my place of work and bought a similar mouse for myself. Bottom line: despite the lack of support, I recommend it.
