Reviews of NK series
They do not creak when paired with TRW pads, do not hit, not much wear after 40,000 km with a quiet ride.
A little rust.
Hello dear readers, I want to share with you the experience of operating the front and rear NK brake discs that I installed on my Ford C-Max car produced at the end of 2008, installed discs with TRW pads, and I want to say this pair worked well. The first one, very important for many, I inform you that they do not creak, there may be a slight creak if you drove through the mud and caught sand or something else, but this is a bigger exception. My driving style is calm, I use the car most of the time very carefully and rarely accelerate more than 110 km / h, as I most often travel with children. I drove on this pair (NK brake discs and TRW brake pads) more than 40,000 km, periodically I look at the pads with about 60% wear (outer) inside, maybe a little more. In conclusion, I want to say that the discs are very good, when I put them on I was a little afraid, but everything is fine, they look normal in terms of the quality of performance. They rust a little, but in my opinion this is for all manufacturers, without rust after 2 years of operation, I have not seen discs. The output on disks after 40,000 km is small, barely clings to a nail if held at the edge, does not hit, does not creak. Everything is fine, in general I recommend buying! Good, but I think not the best, more expensive brands are possibly more interesting, but NK brake discs suited me completely.
Price, do their job well
not seen in normal use, not tested under extreme conditions
A couple of times I had to put NK brake discs on company cars. Usually I try to put something like Ferodo, but sometimes I don't really have to choose, we choose from those available from the seller. so one day I accidentally bought NK brake discs. The packaging and appearance are quite decent, although this has long said little. The assortment is quite wide, I found my own version without problems. Operation was meant for average activity, without sports loads, daily operation of an office courier car without overloading. In general, we were satisfied with the disks, now their mileage is approaching 30 thousand km, there are no complaints about them. I think that if you are not extreme, then these disks are quite suitable for normal use. Paired with Remsa pads, the discs now have minimal wear, they do not hit when braking.
Later I bought the same discs for one of the crossovers in our fleet, because the problem of many crossovers is that they are made on the basis of passenger cars and have problems with overloaded brakes and, as a result, accelerated wear of discs and pads. Not everyone can afford to change expensive disks nowadays, so NK-level disks are very useful here.
In general, I would put them on the same level with the Polish Rotinger disks both in terms of price and consumer characteristics.
They do not creak, do not walk, do not get warm, do not rub.
Expensive
In cars, I am actually not a master, and I am not a mechanic at all, but in my life I often had to work with the brakes, especially with the calibration. So I ordered a friend new brakes on his "wreck", came on time, at first glance, the disks are like disks, nothing special, but when installing, I noticed that they began to walk slightly backwards when stopping. Then it turned out that the machine itself was already falling apart, and the brakes would not help her, I sold it to a friend, he is glad, he speaks like family, does not warm up, does not walk, does not creak, for the second year sincerely serving its owner, all the cases. .. In general, I can say that they have proven themselves well in general.
1) Quality 2) Price
There are no downsides, in my opinion.
In my opinion, the NK are great wheels. I put it on a Ford. For a year of use (about 10,000 km), there were no complaints. At the beginning of operation, they creaked a little, but after a while, everything became perfect. For a year, relatively active driving did not appear. On the first photo there are new discs, on the second after operation a little more than six months.
I see no reason to overpay for the brand. I recommend to everyone!
good price, quality
not noticed
Good day.
I would like to share my impressions of the brake discs from NK - Germany.
As usual, the factories for the production of spare parts are located all over the world, so it is certainly not 100% made in germany, but decent quality at a good price.
These are my first discs on which I see a wear indicator, I think this is it.
They have been working for me already 10 thousand mileage, I have not heard a squeak or a squeak, braking is confident, quite adequate. Of course, they do not pretend to be a brake on a racing car, but for the city they are quite good wheels.
I use these discs with Friction Master pads
During this time, the disks did not lead, they do not "beat", so during this time I am satisfied with them, the main thing is the price is quite democratic, and it is clearly better than any fenox, but this is my personal opinion.
I advise you to try if you are tired of your usual brake discs.
Thank you all for your attention.
