Excellent quality of encoding in 4K with an adequate bitrate, high resolution, smart automation that sets the correct exposure and white balance parameters, a fairly aggressive noise reduction, long battery life - these are the features of the Panasonic Lumix DMC-G7 Kit 14-42mm.

Panasonic has once again made an excellent mid-range mirrorless camera - the G7 is a clear success. In terms of looks, feel and control, the G7 has moved into a slightly higher league relative to the G6. In terms of functionality, only a 4K video recording mode was actually added here, which is not available to competitors. It should be noted that the Panasonic Lumix DMC-G7 Kit when recording video is good not only in 4K mode, but also in the overall high quality of the resulting material, an abundance of settings and excellent autofocus operation, so competitors, even with Full HD recording, cannot compete significantly ... In general, everything is impeccable, the inscription “Made in China” does not cause any negative emotions.

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-G7 costs significantly less than the GH4 model, but the user gets similar functions and controls.

... occupies the niche of a versatile camera for the enthusiast looking for both stills and video.

At first glance, you can't tell that the Lumix G7 is a mirrorless camera, because all the hallmarks of a DSLR are there - a battery grip, a viewfinder and a hot shoe. And only when you take the camera in hand, you realize that something is wrong here. The Panasonic G7 is much smaller and lighter than its DSLR counterparts. This camera is somewhere in the middle of the Lumix mirrorless camera line.

Panasonic managed to make a very convenient, functional and high-quality device. The Lumix G7 will delight its owner with a high-quality body, a bright electronic viewfinder, fast autofocus, high-quality 4K video and fast burst shooting.

Read the instructions for the Panasonic Lumix DMC-G7 Kit

  1. Do not cover the flash, AF-assist lamp, microphone, or speaker with your fingers or other objects.
  2. Do not touch the inside of the digital camera body mount. Since the sensor is a high precision product, it may malfunction or damage it.
  3. The battery can be recharged even if some charge remains, but it is not recommended to continue charging the battery frequently when it is fully charged.
  4. The battery heats up during use and charging. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-G7 Kit also gets warm. This does not indicate a malfunction.
  5. Before shooting with this unit, format the memory card. Do not turn off the camera while formatting.
  6. Before removing the card or battery, turn off the camera and wait until the power indicator turns off completely.
  7. When carrying, it is recommended to attach a lens cap or a multi-layer protective filter (optional) to protect the lens surface.
  8. When shooting under strong backlighting, unnecessary reflection may occur in the lens. Excessive illumination and loss of contrast can be reduced by using a lens hood. A lens hood cuts out excess light and improves image quality.
