Advantages: Really works
Comment: I was very afraid to buy a photoepilator, I thought the reviews were wound. Everything is too "sweet". I have fair skin, dark hair. After 3 procedures, bald spots have already appeared. They just fall out. The rest grow very slowly. Mom's hair is dark + gray. Did a face, 3 procedures. Everyone became light. They practically do not grow. But it's still better than black hemp)

Advantages: 1. The main plus for me is the ability to carry out the procedure at home at a convenient time for me. 2. The procedure itself does not take much time: no longer than a conventional epilator. 2. Efficiency - in a couple of weeks after the procedure, the hair falls out (if you don’t shave it after the procedure, then after reaching a length of 3 mm, it falls out, if you shave, you won’t notice when it’s gone) irritation, no peeling (while after a couple of months of using a conventional mechanical epilator, the legs were covered with red sores and scars, since the hairs had grown into the skin). 4. The device is compact and not heavy, so you can easily take it with you if you leave home for several months (for example, to the country house or on a long business trip)
Disadvantages: 1. Flash is annoying. I am already thinking about buying some safety glasses. Despite the fact that, according to the company, it is harmless, it is annoying with constant bright flashes. So far I have adapted to just looking away during the procedure. 2. Light fine hairs are not susceptible to flash. So, for example, the hair on the thigh and on the leg above the knee did not react in any way to the procedure (I did it 2 times). True, they are there and so imperceptible and thin, so "I didn't really want to." 3 Expensive, but I haven't seen anything competitive yet.
Comment: Unfortunately, there is no solution yet that allows you to get rid of excess hair for life. But efficiency in a couple of months is already a huge breakthrough! The skin feels much better. Of course, it is better to moisturize with a cream, but there is no such flaking as after a razor or inflammatory reactions as after a conventional epilator. So far I have been using it for a little more than a month, but I hope that, as the manufacturer says, after a couple of months of use, 1 procedure in 1-2 months will be enough for me. Although already now (when used once every 2 weeks) I like this method of hair removal much more than the classic ones.

Advantages: hair grows slower with each procedure, there is an accumulator for wireless use - it is more convenient to get into all parts of the body without a wire, from 3 procedures there is no discomfort from use at all.
Disadvantages: The device heats up after 15 minutes of use - unpleasantly sensitive areas, the price, dries the skin - I definitely use the cream.
Comment: I started to use it, having tried all the main methods of hair removal - from a simple razor to shugaring. In search of long-term and safe hair removal, I settled on this model of a photoepilator - and the company inspires confidence, and I disowned the salon procedure because of the price and the danger of extensive burns. 2 attachments - for the body and for the face (have not yet used, differs less face window and flat shape, not convex). Heavy, but quite ergonomic - sits in the hand like a regular hair dryer. The buttons are not sensitive - you have to press it quite hard to set the setting. The instructions are clear, and so, anyone will quickly understand how to use the device. There is an automatic power type detector by skin color - I have level 5 - the lightest skin and the highest flash power. 1 procedure took place at level 4, as it was scary and a little painful, already from 2 procedures I bravely used 5 and now, a couple of days ago, legs, armpits, bikini passed easily by 5. I advise you to first go through the bikini and axillary zones, until the unit warms up, and then the legs. After 1 procedure, the hairs became a little lighter and grow a little slower. But already from 2 times I saw a clear effect of the procedure on the armpits and bikini! The coat there became not only lighter and thinner, but after 2 weeks I saw bald patches when hairs began to grow. But on the legs there is no difference, since their own from the epilations were light, and now they are generally sandy in color, thin. After 3 procedures, "islands" appeared, on which nothing grows AT ALL. And in those places where something still grows in place of 3 hairs from one follicle, only one grows, and even then, thin. And the harder the hair, the faster the effect, since I don't see such a strong effect on my legs yet, but on my mother's legs, who only knew a razor all my life ... Mom is generally happy, she was afraid of epilation due to the formation of spider veins, but so far everything is very clean. Let's see what will happen next)

Advantages: Ease of use, small size and weight (without additional stands, etc.), you can epilation without unnecessary wires, there is enough charging. Many functions, the choice of modes for your skin type (which makes it possible for all family members to use), automatic selection of the mode for the skin type (there are 5 of them).
Disadvantages: The price (although the investment is one-time, and quickly pays off), but all at once you need to give a decent amount. The cosmetic bag gets dirty quickly, I would like there to be a choice of color (or another color that is not so dirty)
Comment: It is very convenient to use, it does not take much time (at first, of course, it takes 40 minutes, then, having got the hang of it, up to 20, and there are fewer treatment areas.))) You can do epilation on the couch, for the especially lazy, a huge +))))

Advantages: Small, lightweight epilator
Disadvantages: Didn't find
Comment: I hope that my review will be useful to those who are thinking about purchasing a photoepilator in general, and the Philips Lumea Prestige BRI950 photoepilator in particular. After 3 months of use, I can sum up my resume. - The device is lightweight and compact. - Can be powered by mains and battery. - The instruction is written quite clearly. - Button assignment is intuitive. - Gentle and painless effect on the skin. - No ingrown hairs and "hemp" from broken hair. - The effect is better seen on dark and coarse hair. there is more melanin, which is affected by the white light of the flash. - The required course is 4-5 procedures. - The break between procedures is 2 weeks. - A persistent effect after the course lasts for 3-4 weeks. This means that you can process the desired surface once a month. - The impact goes to the hair follicle, which is not on the surface of the skin. The bulb stops feeding and hair does not grow from it on the skin surface. If you keep the bulb in this state, you can achieve that the hair will stop growing altogether, but the truth is, when you stop exposure, the bulb will gradually wake up and hair will appear. - Carrying out photoepilation at home, I save money and time on going to the beauty salon. Considering that three people use this device in my family, we save a lot. - I do not regret at all that I began to use this photoepilator.

Advantages: Impressed with the result, good warranty period.
Disadvantages: see comment
Comment: The device itself is pleasant to use, but there are a number of nuances. I decided to go to the solarium - the outbreaks stopped generating. I was really scared that the photoepilator was out of order, but then I read that this is the norm. The device does not work correctly with the skin after a solarium, after a hot shower. The skin should be of normal temperature and your own color - then everything will be all right. Now flashes are being developed, the hairs are almost invisible, somewhere there is a small fluff. The result impressed me! I also wanted to note that this photoepilator comes with an additional guarantee if you register the device at the Philips club. I now have a warranty - three years instead of the standard two :)

Advantages: Appearance, usability and the effect itself
Disadvantages: sometimes overheats, the price
Comment: An excellent device that helped me a lot. I, as the owner of dark hair and very light skin, am insanely happy! From the first time I saw islands without hair on my arms. On the rest of the body that was treated, hair grew much longer than usual. I hardly waited for the second treatment and after a week I found out that the hair was decently smaller EVERYWHERE!)))) After the third treatment I find only small areas that did not give in)) I will continue to process it. I suspect that after the fourth procedure there will be no hair at all !!!))) A very convenient thing with automatic detection of settings. True, he always offered me 5, but this is not surprising. I used the top five from the first procedure. No burns, nothing. I say right away, I am a man with freckles and moles. Although they write that everything needs to be covered up, I covered up only the main ones. There were no burns or discomfort. I didn't make friends with the application. Too many notifications on your phone. But, for those who do not particularly suffer from brute force applications with push messages, the Lumea IPL application will be an excellent reminder))) Conveniently stored in a branded purse. Nozzles are not lost. I can honestly say, despite the price - the device has already paid for itself and even saved me a decent amount of money :) Hurray !!!)))

Hair removal has always been an urgent problem for me. I struggle with hair almost every day, I've tried all known methods. I was lucky to get the Philips Lumea photo epilator and I can confidently recommend it to every girl. He saved me, I can finally stop constantly thinking about my problem and live in peace. The photoepilator has several functions, everyone will find a suitable mode for themselves. There are nozzles for different hair removal zones, 5 power modes, the ability to work from the network and from the battery, a self-adjusting system for determining the power of the light supply. The results will pleasantly surprise you. After 4-5 treatments, the difference is incredible. Hair growth has slowed down! After 8 treatments, 80% of the hair has already stopped growing. Before, I would not have believed that such a thing is possible at all, today it is my reality. I recommend this photoepilator to everyone.

Advantages: An effective device, worth its money (although I took it at a discount of 22 thousand). The effect is already after 1-2 procedures. The hair on the armpits almost immediately stopped growing, the legs were a little longer, but during the third procedure, I hardly had to first shave with a machine. Now you can forget about body hair after 5-6 procedures. But I continue to do it for a lasting effect. The procedures last 2 times longer than stated (it takes 1.5 hours for my legs, bikini and armpits). By the way, my hair is black, my skin is relatively light, so the epilator worked on mode 5, maximum. Maybe with lighter hair, the effect will last longer.
Disadvantages: Not very comfortable to hold in your hand, because thick handle, but this is a minor flaw in comparison with the effect. Painful in sensitive areas (thighs, bikini).
Comment: I recommend to all girls who are worried about hair on the body and face! More profitable and less painful than in the salon. you also save time, do it when it is convenient for you, and do not wait for an appointment in the salon and waste time driving.

Advantages: allows you to save both time and money on all these procedures
Disadvantages: did not see
Comment: I saw an advertisement for this device back in the summer, before that I did laser hair removal and shugaring, until I bought it for a promotion. This piece saves both time and money on all these procedures. Of course, the use of a photoepilator cannot be called completely painless, the skin can become very hot if it is used for a long time in the same place. This cannot be done! The main thing is to read the instructions carefully! I first charge the photoepilator from the outlet, and then I use it without a wire. It is very convenient - the wires do not interfere, the charging is enough for both legs. So far, I still can't decide to try the face attachment, but closer to summer I will definitely try it. Hopefully all painful ways are in the past!
