Opinions from the Razer Ornata Chroma Black USB
Yandex.Market data
Advantages:
Incredibly convenient both in games and at work, incl. print text. Nice, low buttons with excellent response. I got used to them on the second day. The stand is attached with magnets. Conveniently, when you need to temporarily free up space on the table (eat at the computer, for example =)), take the stand and just put it aside somewhere. For other keyboards, the stand is usually attached from below, and in order to detach and attach it, the keyboard must at least be lifted and fixed in the slot. And here - no. The magnets hold firmly, the stand will never bounce off the keyboard during the rollers. Backlight. Here I think it's nowhere more obvious. Some games like Overwatch or Warframe have direct control of the backlight of this keyboard, reacting to in-game situations. It seems to be a trifle, but nice.
Disadvantages:
The price, of course. But keep in mind that you pay for the thing through which you interact with the computer, and which at the same time pleases the eyes while on the table. The fold-out legs under the keyboard do not have anti-slip rubber cushions. The office Logitech K270 is. And here is not, ay yay yay. There are not enough separate buttons to control the music. player.
Comment:
I have been using it for a year almost every day. Oh, how much abuse I read about this product from "experts" on the Internet:> Overprice, 1000r-membrane for 8000r. Sure? But what if I want a convenient and pleasant-looking device on the table, which is pleasant to touch every day, which is convenient in work, and just to see it on the table? Not everyone has everything at once. Yes, nothing is eternal, and one day something will happen to her. But I will know for sure that every interaction with the device was only positive, be it games, printing, or just enjoying the beauty of the backlight on the table. > No backlight needed. Well, there is already someone as you like. When choosing a keyboard, I was interested in usability. Backlighting as a nice addition is not bad for itself, + as I already wrote, some games know how to interact with it. There are even programs written by enthusiasts, such as visualizing the sound of a computer on a keyboard. > The mechanics are still better. Than? Lack of tactile sensations when pressing, when you can press the wrong button just by putting your finger on it without pressing? The clanking of springs? The ones that will bother me before it breaks completely? > Will die in a year. A year has passed. The WASD buttons did not press worse. Only the buttons "glittered" from frequent presses and squeezes, but this is not critical for the keyboard. The stand is also normal, the skin has not peeled off, and does not even show signs of this. I didn't even push the pillow area near the WASD with my hand. Let's see what will happen next.> The stand can also be bought at Chinese flea markets. Maybe. But will it be of the same quality as here? > Banal hate of Razer and its products. I myself "burned" on the Razer Mamba TE, but I still prefer to criticize each product separately, rather than the company as a whole. I really liked this keyboard.

Advantages:
The keys do not fall too easily - you can put your hands on the keyboard, and there will be no accidental presses. At the same time, it is easier to press than my membrane Logitech Illuminated. There are clicks, and they can be heard in the buttonhole (louder than a mouse). Xs, how critical this is to whoever you play with on skype.
Disadvantages:
Without backlighting, the letters look very dull - they could have made them fatter. There is no dedicated volume control button - only through Fn. The volume control buttons are on F1, F2, F3, not F10, F11, F12. It is solved by installing the Karabiner utility on OS X. Windows also has some kind of key remap.

Advantages:
1) Convenient programmable keys with clear response and pleasant "soft" click. 2) Beginning of RGB lighting. 3) Excellent flexible cable. 4) Comfortable wrist pad with magnets.
Disadvantages:
1) Glitchy software. 2) Russian / English characters, as well as punctuation marks are too small. Visually impaired people may have some difficulty using this keyboard. 3) Too easily soiled pad under the wrists.
Comment:
So, this keyboard turned out to be quite interesting, despite the presence of certain drawbacks. 1) This is a buggy software (Synapse), and without it you will not be able to fully use this keyboard. 2) Russian / English characters, as well as punctuation marks are too small and poorly highlighted, even if you set the maximum backlight brightness. The enter and shift (right) keys are especially poorly lit. Perhaps it's all about a certain batch of these keyboards. 3) Very easily soiled wrist pad. The positive aspects include the following: 1) Convenient programmable keys with clear actuation and a pleasant "soft" click, which resembles the sound of a "mouse" click only more pronounced. 2) Excellent flexible cable with good sheath. 3) The presence of the actual RGB backlight. 4) Comfortable, though heavily soiled wrist pad with magnets. The bottom line. Good membrane keyboard with excellent key travel, but small Russian / English characters and punctuation marks; RGB backlit; comfortable, but heavily branded wrist pad; buggy software. And, of course, an unreasonably high price for the brand. p.s. With a long gaming session, the fingers begin to noticeably get tired, because the keys, although with a short, clear stroke, require great effort when pressed when compared with high-quality mechanics. Happy shopping everyone!

Advantages:
- unusual hybrid "memhanic" - flat keys for connoisseurs - backlighting. Not so much what it is, or how it is implemented, but rather the effects created by Razer. Unfortunately, competitors do not have this. One "fire" is worth it. - high quality keycaps - the ability to pass the wire under the keyboard to the left, right, upwards - a clear press, without wobbling keycaps - I read a lot about bad software from raisers, everything is fine, beautiful, clear, understandable - the palm rest is included - the best implementation ... Soft, wear-resistant, magnetically attached to the keyboard - there are holes in the keyboard backing, apparently, so that liquid can drain or dust and debris will fall off, while water resistance is not declared.
Disadvantages:
There are many positive points, but in the end, I still switched to mechanics: - the most important thing is a very hard pressure. 75g, if I'm not mistaken. I am writing this with Cherry MX Red, 45g strength - rest for fingers and wrists. It's hard to spam in games, you get tired of holding the key down for a long time. - really loud - on the back there are legs for changing the angle of the keyboard. Not rubberized. They can scratch the table, the keyboard starts to crawl, it becomes even louder, becausevibration and sound go directly to the table and are amplified. They also hang loose if you raise the keyboard. A trifle, but unpleasant. - all plastic, the wildest creaks and cracks, if you wrinkle it a little in your hands - the keycaps, it seems, are removable, but they require such an effort that in the end I did not dare to go to the end ... that kind of money, smoothly move on to the final: - Classic raiser overpricing. Interesting, not bad, would you buy it again? No.
Comment:
They also have Razer Cynosa - it's generally dark there. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone. If this keyboard cost as Cynosa, and that, in turn, at the level of inexpensive membranes from other manufacturers, justice would triumph and everything would fall into place, but miracles do not happen. An interesting keyboard for those who love notebook computers, but keep in mind everything described above. Absolutely by accident I switched to mechanics - I fell under the hot hand cheaply. So I would have used Ornata further and would not have been steaming, but life is pain. I still type the text with it faster and more accurately than with the mechanics, but in games, the hands themselves ask for the mechanics - the response is noticeably more comfortable and faster. Nobody needs an ornate, guys?)

Advantages:
- Very nice keystroke - Many different effects in the app to indulge in - Some games support special functional profiles for keyboard backlighting
Disadvantages:
- The color profile is not saved to the keyboard (the application is always required) - Without backlighting, the keys are difficult to distinguish - Unreasonably expensive for such a design (just a membrane pad below, a click creates a small metal plate in the form of a hook between the button and the membrane)

Advantages:
1 quality materials 2 design 3 comfortable stand 4 keys that are pleasant to sound and touch 5 rich and bright backlight
Disadvantages:
1 swollen skin on the stands (in use for more than a year) 2 crunches plastic on the sides of the keyboard
Comment:
perfect keyboard for me
April 14, 2020, Moscow
Advantages:
Mechanical keys, smooth and quiet key travel, full-size keys, shift and enter location, soft touch surface, artificial leather stand surface (soft filling inside) under the hands on a magnet, comfortable ergonomics of the entire keyboard, no backlash, no creaks, very durable plastic, convenient and functional setting of RGB backlighting keys, basic set of multimedia keys FN +.
Disadvantages:
EN letters are not highlighted in any way - although I got used to it quickly.
Comment:
High quality workmanship, the keyboard is definitely worth the money. Even if you are not a gamer, this keyboard is suitable for work, for simple surfing the Internet = comfort. The palm rest is very comfortable, it adds comfort when working, definitely, another question is how long the artificial leather will last and when it starts to crack - time will tell. I liked the flexible setting of the backlight and the preset presets for it in Razer Synapse 2, while no problems were noticed in the software.
February 6, 2020, Village of the Lenin State Farm
Advantages:
Great switches, chic looks and a stand that really deserves respect.
Disadvantages:
Probably the materials of the case, they look high quality and expensive, but in fact it is plastic. For the price (took in the official store) in 8999 rubles. the plastic doesn't fit well. But it is worth noting that it does not flex and does not leave prints.
Comment:
Before buying, I doubted these switches, previously I used good membranes (for example, Logitech G213 Prodigy), mechanical keyboards of different classes (RedDragon Hara, HyperX Alloy Elite RGB) and this is really something between. The sound is not loud (about like yellow / orange switches), pressing is clear, the height of the keys is optimal for fast operation, the only thing is how long will such switches last? Will watch.

Advantages:
Design, reliability, build quality
Disadvantages:
I would like completely rubber feet
Comment:
I have a rather slippery table, but the keyboard is held confidently, when you move it, you can hear the grinding of plastic retractable legs. I have Klava for more than half a year - the flight is normal. Very bright and rich backlighting. The sound of the key deserves special attention, it is a hybrid of the membrane and mechanics, and it is very cool, quieter than an ordinary fur, but more expressive than a regular membrane. The brush holder is attached with magnets. Because of this, there is no solid construction, but plus to mobility, it is very convenient if you need to quickly free up space on the table without removing the keyboard far. For all the time, the skin at hand has not been erased or washed out. In general, you either love all Razer products at first sight or go and buy a RoG. ;)
