Experience of using several hours. I bought it at below market price. Getting acquainted with the device, I tried to open the knife block, assumed that it would fold back, but it fell out. Found that the block mounts are broken in two places. The mounts are two ephemeral plastic pins with "bumps" that must hold onto the grooves in the body. I have never seen anything more surprising in my life. Now I know which is the weakest mount in the world. One piece is broken at the base, the other in half (?). Item pricing became clear. I did not change it, I glued the block to the body with a strip of adhesive tape, which completely restored functionality (rattled). I tried to shave - it copes well with direct duty, only (dust) hair is a pillar. The disadvantages of the device include the absence of a roll of adhesive tape with the manufacturer's logo in the set, for example, "Remington - we always take care of you." Be gentle with the knife block and you will be fine.

Disadvantages:
Flimsy mounts of the upper platform with knives (I don't know what is the correct name). Slippery silver plastic on the sides. No other shortcomings have been identified.
Comment:
I used it for a little over a year, not to say that intensively, but quite a few times. I liked everything - the trimmer is like a trimmer, which it should be ... until one day it slipped out of my hands and fell to the floor. The platform with the knives immediately flew off because of the broken two thin fasteners on which it was held. It is useless to glue - the fasteners are very thin, they will fall off at the first use, if they stick at all. I will not lower the score for this, since it is my own fault that I dropped it. The rest of the device is normal, the main thing is not to drop it!

I use it for cutting a very stiff beard to short stubble, based on this, advantages: Very high quality haircut. Tears nothing, cuts quickly even long and hard stubble. Ceramic coated blades. No replacement, no sharpening. No need to lubricate the mechanism. Build quality and materials. Convenient adjustment of the bristle length. No need to carry a mountain of attachments with you, just turn the wheel. The ability to work from the network. After 4-5 years of use, the battery has become unusable. Many other devices would have had to be thrown away or changed the battery, but here I just switched to the cord. Quite handy cleaning brush and carrying case included. Incredible vitality and durability. I have been using it about once a week for 4-5 years and it still cuts with dignity. Now I have already started tugging at my hair a little and the battery is dead, so I ordered the same one again.
Disadvantages:
Low battery life. If you are very bearded, the charge will be enough for 2-3 haircuts. Scatter hair around. The radius is about half a meter.
Comment:
Yes, I have no experience with other similar devices, but after several years of using this particular trimmer, I still do not see any alternatives to it. This is for the lazy, which does not need to be lubricated, sharpened, changed blades on it, but at the same time it will still serve faithfully for years. I read reviews about the flimsy of some mounts, but I myself have not come across anything like this, so far everything is in perfect working order.

She worked for about two and a half years and began to discharge quickly. Now I took it apart and was horrified by the amount of "wool" inside the device. The device is quite repairable, but the side panels are glued, so it's more accurate. I believe that this device has worked with interest for 1100 rubles.

Advantages:
Shaves perfectly. You can create a clear outline of the beard - the retractable knife will additionally help with this. Convenient cut length switch. Holds a charge for a long time - I charged no more than once a month (shaving 2-3 times a week for 7-10 minutes).
Disadvantages:
Everyone has already written about the fastening of the upper platform with knives - indeed, a very unreliable design, even outwardly. But the most unpleasant thing is a charger - if it is damaged or lost, the second one cannot be found (at least I did not succeed).
Comment:
Having lost the charger, I decided to try something else. I chose Braun BT 3040, focusing on the high rating of this model on the Yandex market. After two months of torment, Remington acquired again.

A brutal option for beards or those who love the effect of light unshaven. Great cutting block, but not without nuance. Some connections are gentle enough. The all-in-one form factor is a priority for me, I don't like the scattering of knives and attachments. A fairly old and time-tested trimmer, no technological breakthroughs, a Kalashnikov shaving machine!
