Opinions from the Samsung Galaxy S20 +
Yandex.Market data
Advantages:
Camera. Screen. The dimensions of the phone, due to the small width, are convenient to hold. Built-in memory capacity. New chips for software and GUI samsa. Face recognition. I also have no problems with getting into a fingerprint. The necessary data was transferred by a smart switch.
Disadvantages:
The camera sometimes glares, this can also be seen in video reviews. It's scary to drop it) We'll have to hide it in a cover. It's a pity, I have it in gray, it looks cool. Communication quality: I use two sims, the first sim is great, the second sim is terrible, it is interrupted and nothing is heard. Video quality in auto mode is a lot of noise. In pro mode - approx. It's hard to hold it to your ear during a long conversation, your hand gets tired) Well, the price, of course. Although there are norms on Yandex stores that sell cheaper, but the PCT and without tricks like leasing, I bought it, look and find)
Comment:
There are so many bad reviews, how much muddy the S20 lineup was, and yet I bought this phone and ... I have no regrets! I like the photos, the quality of the picture. In general, I switched from the A5 2017 samsa, the difference is palpable. At the same time, I got used to the Samsung shell, I really like it, I don't understand why some people spit from it. Too difficult?)) So, the old phone had a 3000mAh battery. Even considering that he is an old man, he really had to charge 2-3 times a day. I take off the S20 + from charging at 10 am and put it on at 8-10 pm. I stuck a screen of battery consumption for clarity. Compared to the old phone, it holds longer, so it suits me perfectly. Also, bluetooth is always on, active 2 hours are connected. Of course, if you torture the phone with games for several hours, it is expected that it will discharge quickly. Heating - xs what are you doing with it, I only got hot on the first day, when I got hold of AR emoji and got stuck) I don't play much in games, except in Catan - it's not very demanding, but there is no heating either. Just like when using a camera, whatsapp, etc. - there is no it.Yes, she is a samsungofag - you say) No, I was considering other options for purchase, the samsung won in terms of camera and other parameters. Total: the phone is excellent, expensive, but I'm not disappointed with the quality, the only drawback is the terrible connection on the second SIM card.

Advantages:
1. Very good camera, although Samsung still has a lot to strive for. After Huawei P10 the camera is better, but the first days did not feel the wow effect. However, almost a month later, I was convinced that in photography the S20 + was a head taller than the old phone, and in video it was two heads higher. - The phone has no optical zoom, only hybrid. Its own optical approximation is only x1.06, the rest is due to digital technologies. However, when I compared the zoom with the iPhone XS (a friend's phone), the Samsung S20 + performed better in detail. - S20 + night mode is much better than Huawei P20 Pro (another friend's phone). - The detail of the faces in the photo is just excellent. The main thing is not to shoot against the light indoors. Then the faces begin to lather. - I also made a comparison of photos of S20 + with Nikon D5100 DSLR, which is gathering dust in my closet. With the right lighting, both are good. S20 + outperforms DSLRs: in artificial light, in the dark. S20 + loses to a DSLR: when shooting faces indoors against daylight, in zoom scenarios during the day. - When shooting video, the phone was very pleased with the autofocus, which does not lag when moving in the frame. After P10, it's just a fairy tale. - When shooting video in low light, the scene is very noisy. It would be nice to improve the noise reduction here. However, nothing was visible on the old phone under these conditions. 2. Beautiful full-size display. After him, the Huawei P10 is perceived as a pager. 3. Smooth operation of the interface. The phone works especially smoothly in 120 Hz mode, but in this mode my eyes quickly get tired. Had to go back to 60 Hz. However, after the P10, the phone is still very smooth. 4. Beautiful ONE UI interface (compare with EMUI). 5. Each application can be assigned its own notification sound. It was very important for me to assign my sounds to a couple of applications. In EMUI 9.1, this was not possible. 6. Excellent vibration. In P10, the vibration was turned off for me, because it was annoying. Here, on the contrary, the tactile response is always included when typing. Nice to use.
Disadvantages:
1. Without a cover, the back of the phone looks budget. Dull cheap sound when tapped. 2. Unlocking by sub-screen scanner compared to P10 capacitive sensor is a step backward. It takes 2 times longer to wait for finger recognition. Unlocking on a face with a camera is also not smart. And it doesn't work well in the dark. 3. Autonomy compared to P10 is only 20% higher (and this is in 60 Hz mode). I wanted to turn on the power saving mode (here it is called "Average performance"), but in this mode the calendar is not synchronized. I had to go back to the "Optimal performance" mode. In fact, my phone is enough for 1.5 days with 2 hours of screen per day + music. He does not live up to two days with me. True, to justify Samsung, it is worth saying that here all applications hang in RAM, in Huawei they were constantly unloaded from the background. Anyway, I expected more from a 4500 mAh battery. 4. Eyes get tired in 120 Hz mode. Switched to 60 Hz. This was somewhat disappointing, since 120 Hz was one of the reasons for me to buy this particular phone, and not, for example, the Honor V30 Pro. 5. Memory management is not intuitive. This is the only serious complaint about the interface, I have already figured out the rest and got used to it. You can close applications through the "Recent Applications" menu, through the "Device Usage" section, by selecting the Power Saving mode. It's kind of confusing. I would not care about this, but I want unnecessary applications not to hang in the background (and not eat up the battery), but at the same time so that all notifications, updates and synchronization occur without delays. Here I would add the possibility of manual settings for the power saving mode.
Comment:
Moved to phone from Huawei P10. At first I had to get used to the settings. Something is a little better implemented in EMUI, something in One UI. Gradually I figured it out and now I'm almost happy with everything. The only question left was to manage applications in the background. The Exynos 990 processor on the S20 + is criticized by many, but its power is excessive in everyday tasks. It may not be as good at gaming as top-end Snapdragon phones, but phone buyers in this price segment are unlikely to buy a phone for toys. Apps opened quickly on the Huawei P10, but even faster on the S20 +. Even the slow Skype opens almost instantly. Perhaps this is not the merit of the processor, but the fast memory. Or maybe this is the merit of Android 10. But I am definitely satisfied with the speed of the S20 +. Compared to the old phone, the Galaxy S20 + feels pricey. Screen, interface design, fluidity, tactile response, camera. There are downsides too, but they don't negate the overall high-end feel of the phone. Well, it's important not to forget to close it in a case, because the back of the phone is very similar to a plastic one :)

Advantages:
Perfect for me
Disadvantages:
Paranoia is following me that he will fall. This was not the case with the s7 edge
Comment:
For me at the moment, this is an ideal device, the most innovative device, although the Chinese are almost on par, and in terms of the camera, even half their heads higher. The screen is just ideal, how smooth and fast everything is. The photo is on the level, although I'm not such a photographer). It is still difficult to judge by the battery. So far it holds for a day and a half, with all functions turned on, except for UHD, since 120 Hz does not work on it.

Advantages:
A smart phone. Moved from an apple, I do not regret a minute. Tired of the iPhone))
Disadvantages:
Price. Yes, too tall for me. But in the process of work, when you understand how much work has been invested in a gadget, you just understand that having paid money you need to try to use the maximum of opportunities.
Comment:
I really like the little things. The type of clock that can be hung on the screen and at night it will work like a clock, the fact that the alarm shows how much time you have left to sleep, the number of settings that are already similar not to settings, but to full customization, etc. etc. I study the manual in the evenings so as not to miss anything.
