Android takes 2 GB in memory, like Windows 10 on my pc, but my pc has 32 g of RAM, and here is 4, you need to somehow optimize the operating system for mobile devices. There are often false touches on the screen. Well, that's probably all the disadvantages of this device in my opinion.

Disadvantages: The only tangible drawback in my opinion is authorization / exit from standby mode - to get out of it, you need to either tap the screen twice with your finger and then hope that your face will be recognized or swipe your finger over the fingerprint scanner, and the fingerprint scanner at the end of the button , it is decidedly inconvenient to use it, and face recognition works so-so in my opinion, so it turns out a little gag.I knew about these shortcomings, their absence is not critical, but what would I add: 1. The filling would be more powerful here with Snapdragon 855 or at least 845, and 6-8 gigs of RAM 2. NFC 3. Memory in base 128 (I immediately corrected it with a card, but I would prefer it to be just a built-in one) 4. Perhaps the absence of a stylus, but how it is implemented in the Tab S4 as a separate pen, it seems to me also a very controversial decision, if it cannot be carried in the case separately, the stylus is generally strange ... it happens not often, and as a gadget built into the body, the thing is not superfluous, but as extra ballast separately - it's not at all clear about what ...

Comment: About 4 years ago, I was the happy owner of a Tab S2, which I bought on the 2nd or 3rd day since the beginning of its sales in the Russian Federation, and with which I spent about a year instead of a phone, and before it I walked with a Note 2014 tablet for almost a year, then switched to Huawei P8 Max with a 6.9-inch screen, and then phones with 6.5-inch screens went, and then I decided to try again, this time not as a replacement for a phone, but as a replacement for a compact laptop on Windows. models neither on m5 nor even on m7 do not please for a second with their performance, well, I must say that even a 1 kg laptop, with a touchscreen, is still much heavier in weight than a tablet and is much less convenient to use. Nevertheless, the keyboard, even though it can be wrapped around its axis and make a semblance of a tablet from a laptop, does not add either convenience or a sense of reliability of the design. In general, while I am satisfied with the purchase, if you take it at a normal price - the thing is generally excellent, I will try to replace it with a laptop, I ordered it for work so that they could write the necessary software for android.

Disadvantages: Slippery, very slippery. Need a cover no questions asked. Wi-Fi is pretty mediocre. On the phone all the rules, the signal catches without question, then the tablet ... Constantly loses connection. Games, after all, this model is not very sharpened for them, the quality of the graphics is not very good, some kind of blurry or something. Yes, everyone plays games, but you can't get high with them)))

Comment: I am satisfied with the tablet without question, an excellent gadget for listening to music, movies and for working with a keyboard. For games, in my opinion, it is currently not sharpened, you need to optimize the software

You can buy an adapter to HDMI and use DEX mode to connect to computer or TV

Disadvantages: 1. there is no possibility of wireless charging or a docking station (well, or I didn’t find a docking station) 2. there are no protective films or glasses on sale yet 3. in a case with a keyboard, the screen will not clean itself when the mode is closed. if it is heavily stained, you need to look for a napkin - it is not included in the kit

Comment: Before that, I walked with a Sony tablet Z4 LTE 32 gb for 4 years - after that this tablet is space, of course

Comment: I took Tab S2 to replace it. I mainly use it on the road for surfing and watching videos. Ideal for these purposes. Yes, there are pluses and I have listed them above. But, alas, I did not see any fundamental improvement.

Why Samsung marketers made such a decision, God knows. In general, probably from the first sensations, these are all the disadvantages that caught my eye, not counting the fact that accessories traditionally arrive much later than the devices themselves. ...
