Advantages:
The picture quality is very decent. Excellent video detail, no noise, decent picture in poor light, with a long focus - background blur. In general, I am very pleased with the camera.
Disadvantages:
There is no focus correction option in autofocus mode. Not stable focus, well, this is due to the size of the matrix. Setting the white balance manually in Kelvin only through the menu is also very inconvenient. There are two presets for white balance, but you can't beat the balance while shooting. In general, when shooting continuously, changing the balance is not so easy, you need to go to the menu by pressing a bunch of buttons ((((The caps are constantly opening. The hood is without curtains, but with a cap that is easy to lose.

Previous camera SONY HVR-Z5 The quality is heaven and earth, I love it! Disadvantages have become a fly in the ointment.

Advantages:
A very decent detailed and sharp picture! No noise up to 18 Db. Shallow depth of field thanks to the large matrix. Good high resolution display. Very good autonomy with the most common NPF series batteries. Recording to available SD flash drives.
Disadvantages:
Lens aperture - 2.8 - 4.5. A tiny viewfinder to get used to. There is no possibility of manual adjustment of the white balance in Kelvin from the assignable button (only through the menu). Stupid connector plugs that constantly open and strive to come off! Autofocus in low light or lack of contrasting details works out at "3" (which is not surprising). Few assignable buttons (at least one more). Damn, Sony !, a strap for $ 2 could have been included in the kit!

In principle, I'm happy with the camera, for 100 tr. you will not find something similar from other manufacturers.

Advantages:
The picture is beautiful at a maximum rate of 50 frames per second, recording in H.264, recording in MPEG4.
Disadvantages:
Lost focus on the machine. Just a stupor. With the subsequent video processing and video translation at 25 frames per second in H.264, the recording in MPEG4 video in motion was no longer smooth. I had to fix it to convert to AV format and then MPEG2 50 frames per second and then 25 frames per second. Only in this way was it possible to edit a normal film. In poor lighting conditions, additional light is required. Noise appears after -12 units.
