Advantages:
Reliable, easy start, keeps the rpm well (do not float like competitors), comfortable lids when buying an original barrel with siphons are very cultured and clean work (minimum time for refueling and there are no puddles of gasoline and oil around, hands and saw are clean, not in oil, sawdust and dirt also do not get inside the barrels) we use it every day for 8 hours for 4 months without any particular complaints.
Disadvantages:
standard one-piece sprocket with a clutch drum - quickly ended, bought a separate one! Weak rubber shock absorbers, not very experienced sawers, when clamping the tire, pull out the saw, respectively, tear the rubber shock absorbers.
Comment:
for 4 months of operation, 3 saws, one of the carburetor flew out, the needle hung and began to suck in air, ordered a repair kit. in the second month, the drums with separate stars were changed for all the saws. Separate stars are cheaper. Be sure to keep the chains clean and taut and trim the tires with a file. Do not press or jerk or shock absorbers will fly. for now!

The saw has good revs, it easily takes raw birch for the entire length of the tire. Easy to disassemble and clean, everything that gets dirty and clogged can be easily cleaned without fuss. Sawed a birch, more than a meter in obhavata, dumpy, long - finished in a few hours, my hands do not hurt, my back does not ache, there is no fatigue. All thanks to a very good anti-vibration system and low weight. Of the minuses, you can find fault with the unsuccessful air filter, but if you do not forget about it, then there will be no problems. In general, I repeat - the saw is excellent, light, powerful, comfortable - it is a pleasure to work with it

The first personal saw. Before that I sawed off my father's Partner 340 (quite a lot), she is already 14 years old !!! She is still alive and plowing, but rather weak. I thought about taking the same one, but picking it up in the store I felt a catch, the quality is not at all the same. I watched Shtil MS 180 and 250, thought for a long time. But then they brought Shtil MS 260 from the warehouse ... and I no longer looked at other saws. 17550 RUB Expensive! I hope I was not mistaken. In the evening to the cottage! As he said "sold" he lowered the flag to the end, poked it 4 times (until it grabbed), then moved it to the second position, pressed the decompressor, poked it 2 times and hurray! started up at full speed, peregazovka and now they are idle. Immediately sawed a 4-meter log into chocks (firewood) in 1.5 minutes. (Partner had crawled for 8-10 minutes before). Ahead is a large construction site, a two-storey house for my large family :) I will provide the saw with work. There will be time to unsubscribe.

I have never heard a negative review about the calm manufacturer. Every user praises this manufacturer. You just need to choose the right model in order to enjoy all its benefits. I took the calm MS 260 for home. Someone will say that this chainsaw is very powerful for the house, but it is just right for me. At least the saw has no restrictions, to cut a young thin tree or an old one with a thick trunk. She saws everything and she can do everything.

I bought it relatively recently, have already worked with it a couple of times. Saws right. It is very comfortable and easy to hold in the hands. There are no backlashes on the case. Did not tighten or tighten anything. The kit included a combo key, for which a special thank you to the manufacturer of the Stihl MS 260 saw, it will be one less problem if something happens)

Stihl MS 260 has been in operation since 2015, the quality corresponds to the price. Repaired only on trifles. I changed the chain, the candle, the tire is still alive, the carburetor and the engine - everything is ok. A couple of times I disassembled, cleaned, disassembly-assembly, in principle, is not difficult, if hands do not grow from a rosy place.
