The compact AVerMedia TD310 external TV tuner is designed for use with Windows desktop and laptop PCs. The connection to the computer is carried out via the USB 2.0 interface - which ensures compatibility even with not the most modern systems.

The procedure for connecting a TV tuner to a computer is extremely simple. It is necessary to connect the antenna to the TV tuner and connect it to an available USB port. A compact foldable dipole antenna is supplied with the TV tuner for receiving programs on mobile. It is equipped with two telescopically expanding metal rods, which are attached to a plastic body on hinges that provide the ability to change the angle of inclination within 180 °.

The AVerMedia TD310 TV Tuner is an extremely easy-to-use and very compact device that you can easily take with you when needed. The standard software does not impose high requirements on the PC configuration, but at the same time it provides the owner with a wide range of functions - including EPG support, deferred viewing mode, as well as recording broadcast programs on a schedule with the ability to transcode into a specified format. We also note a convenient remote control included in the package. One of the not very significant omissions is the lack of a protective cap for the built-in USB plug.

AVerMedia TD310 is equally well suited for watching digital TV programs on both desktop and laptop PCs.

The case is small in size. On one side is a standard USB plug, on the other side is an IEC (antenna) connector. Installed in a USB port, the tuner will not block access to the adjacent horizontally (left or right) USB port, where you can plug in another standard-sized device. True, there will not be enough space for wide flash drives or 3G / 4G modems. If the USB ports are stacked one above the other, the adjacent port will be blocked.

The tuner is called hybrid for a reason. In addition to the ability to receive terrestrial digital television (DVB-T / T2), it also supports the DVB-C standard - receiving wired cable TV channels. This greatly increases thematic selection and generally improves image quality at the expense of higher resolution.

Pros of TD310: a rich set of basic and additional functions (3D), compactness, high sensitivity, stability of the software, convenient remote control.

Just for viewing DVB-T / T2 channels, TD310 capabilities may seem overkill. But if you think that the Internet is not everywhere, and you need to watch TV, or that now you can record the desired TV program only with the help of a USB tuner, since VCRs have already thrown everything away, then AVerMedia TD310 becomes an irreplaceable device.
