Selenga T42D is a set-top box for watching digital and cable television of DVB-T2 / DVB-C standards. It is possible to connect to the Internet using a Wi-fi adapter. To access the Internet, you can also use a USB wired adapter (purchased separately). The body is made of plastic. On the front panel there is a power indicator and buttons for switching channels. The receiver has a clear menu in Russian, automatic and manual channel search, two USB ports. The device is equipped with a delayed viewing function and a function for recording programs to external devices. SELENGA T42D turns on automatically when you connect the AV cable. To access the Internet, you can use a USB adapter for a wired connection or a WI FI adapter (purchased separately).
The set-top box with its direct function of viewing digital and cable television does an excellent job. The average heating temperature is about 35 degrees. Ventilation is made on all sides so that the receiver does not overheat.
The receiver can work as a media player with support for the AC-3 codec, any movie downloaded from the Internet will play with sound, there will be no problems.
