I bought it in early January. The reason is banal - old pipes give rusty water. I did it with a bang - the water flowed clean, but the scale has not gone anywhere. I did the following: I bought a softening cartridge and made myself a complex barrier (1 - ferrostop, 2 - softening, 3 - postcarbon. I didn't see any rust or scale. Of course, the resource of such a system is less, but it also cleans better. The water became really soft and transparent ...

They put an anti-iron filter, because the water in the tap is rusty, constant yellowness on the sink due to old pipes in the house. The installer guy warned that the shelf life of consumables depends on the composition of the water and how much we drink per day, and that the ferrostop cartridge will have to be changed more often than the others, because it will clog up faster.

Satisfied in principle. Bribed easy installation and replacement of cartridges. There is a lot of trouble with threaded ones, if you don't tighten it - they leak, you pull it harder - the bulb may crack. As for the aftertaste, I hope it will pass over time after a long leak.

We have always had very hard water, but we have only recently become concerned with this issue. So far, it works flawlessly, the quality suits. We were very afraid that it might break or it would not be enough to clean. However, the iron taste is gone (Hurray!) And functions perfectly. We were warned to change the cartridges more often.

I chose the filter in the house where we live all year round. There is a lot of iron in the water, this can be seen by the yellow stains on the sink, and when the water settles in the jar, a dense yellow coating falls out on the walls. I have a coarse filter at the inlet, and this one was installed for drinking. It seems to cope. You just need to make sure that the iron cartridge changes on time. But it still comes out cheaper than purchased water.

Well, I chose among the filters for a very long time! I watched New Water first! BUT! even in LM their cartridges for 600-800 rubles apiece! And there are 4 of them! According to reviews, I came across a barrier. I will say right away that I doubted for a long time about these plastic fittings, it looks not at all clear how they hold back the water pressure? So flimsy. When I put it in and it didn't flow anywhere - I was very surprised :) Now the filter itself - I took it for 2702 (filter + additional set of cartridges + shipping). I must say right away that I put it after a conventional flask filter with a rope cartridge. So this is + one more stage of cleaning :) Noginsk district - we have a lot of iron in the soil, so I took the Ferrum modification! Now the whole family is drinking water directly from the tap! I hope these thin hoses won't vomit at night and flood the whole apartment. And so "five" is the best that I found in the ratio of price-quality-availability of cartridges, ease of installation / replacement.

Barrier Expert Ferrum is used in a country house, because there is a lot of iron in the country water. We decided to change consumables before the season so that there was always tasty and clean water in the house. When we return to the city, we take some water with us.

We all have iron in the water in our area. Who can buy water, who cannot put filters. I chose the filter myself, re-read a bunch of reviews on the Internet and interviewed all my friends. As a result, I chose Expert Ferrum. And the reviews are good and I liked the design very much. The filter cleans well, removes iron, this is evident from the absence of reddishness of boiled water, after settling in a kettle. With our rusty water, the cartridges get clogged after half a year. I change the first, which takes away visible rust and the second, which is from the dissolved iron. Recommended if you have ferrous water. For other water it is better to look at something different.

Prior to the purchase of this filter, an anti-iron Barrier jug was used. Satisfied, but I wanted more, because the taste of water quickly returned. We have not changed the same filter for six months, during which time it completely paid for itself - buying cassettes every three weeks was quite expensive. The cool thing is that it cleans much better than a filter jug. So if you are not satisfied with the jug, I highly recommend thinking about buying such a device.
