The kettle DOES NOT have a hinged lid. Instead, a completely removable cover. Those. you won't be able to press the button and fold it back - you need to turn it by 10-15 degrees and separate it from the kettle body. It sounds a little scary, but in fact it is very convenient and, most importantly, extremely reliable. The previous Philips was replaced precisely because of the spontaneous opening of the lid. However, there is one "but" - condensation accumulates on the lid, therefore, when you removed it, it is better not to put it on the table with the wet side down :) You can pour water from a cooler or a pump, or from the tap through the spout without touching cover at all. In general, after reviewing a bunch of expensive teapots with a lot of problems, judging by the reviews, I decided not to soar my brain and buy this one for 900 rubles. with a penny. I am very pleased with the choice, I recommend it to everyone who is afraid of the smell of hot plastic and factory defects.

I bought such a kettle for myself 6 years ago. I also bought the same mom and mother-in-law. Teng burned out the other day - I sin on increased voltage in the house - up to 250 volts. Bought exactly the same, but only in a different color. I disassembled the burned-out kettle to see what burned out - it is made amazingly, I have never seen such a high-quality kettle - everything inside is in perfect condition (for 6 years I drove it just like that). Nothing melted anywhere, none of the contacts burnt - nonsense! On all contact connections, heat shrink or tube insulator. I almost shed a tear when I saw how it was made! The platform with the heating element is poured very well, the sealing gum has not hardened in 6 years, not a single plastic part has crumbled. The new kettle looks just as good as the old one.

The kettle does not boil for a long time .. it does it in a normal time, but now it has boiled and it boils for another 10-15 seconds before it turns off. Perhaps this is due to the fact that the nose is wide enough (the reverse side of a significant plus) and the required temperature still cannot reach the maximum. Cap. Yes, at first she just disappointed - to open the kettle you need to flip the shutter by turning the lid to the left, but the shutter is relatively tight and you have to use both hands - one holds the kettle, the other turns the lid. It can be quite uncomfortable. But after a while we got used to not locking the lid, and just turning it all the way into the shutter.This does not in any way affect the boiling rate, and with safety, everything is okay too - when pouring water, it does not move. But now you can easily open the lid with one hand. The price is absolutely justified.

Advantages:
Complete absence of plastic odor. A good filter is in the spout, not on the lid, i.e. it doesn't get loose over time. The lid is completely removable; easier to clean and less risk of breaking when opened or filled with water. Moreover, the safety is higher, because the lid is locked and itself does not open when the kettle is tilted. Good indication of the water level on both sides of the kettle. The power indicator is clear and aesthetically pleasing - the button is illuminated in a gentle red color. It boils water quite quietly and at the same time quickly. The shape of the spout is very good - the stream of water will flow correctly and clearly even when water is quickly poured and if it is poured on the sly (my child, for example, tilts the kettle very carefully and if the spout is too flat, the boiling water starts to pour, but this kettle is doing fine).
Disadvantages:
A couple of centimeters taller than other teapots - you need to take into account if you have cabinets above the table where the kettle stands, for example. I had to rearrange the kettle as steam from it beat directly into the chipboard of the cabinets hanging above it.

Just an outstanding model! I don't see any competitors even for a much higher price. Before that, I changed several fashionable teapots made of glass with lights and other fashionable things. This Bosh is much better! I can safely recommend it for purchase if you need a simple and high-quality kettle for a ridiculous price.

After 4 years, BOSCH TWK 6004N began to flow. I wanted to buy another manufacturer, but the reviews about low reliability were stopped. This is not my first kettle of this brand, none of them had problems with the failure of electrical elements. This time, I also wanted a case of a simpler (reliable) shape. Of course, there is no design here, but high-quality plastic and neat workmanship. I was afraid that the removable lid would not suit, but no, you quickly get used to it. It turned out to be even more convenient to pour water. At the same time, it closes quite tightly, if you turn over there are no streams from under it. The lid handle does not heat up. Excellent windows - level indicators. Noisy, like all of them. The bottom position of the switch (turning it down) did not lead to any inconvenience. When you try to turn it on without a stand, the button is not fixed. In general, the thing is no frills, but it does its job as it should.

The kettle is very pleasant, the more it upset a small defect: when heated, the LED contact in the power button begins to move away. If you stagger it on a still cold kettle, it does not go out. As soon as it heats up a little, it goes out by itself, and when you wobble, you can see that the contact is junk. We decided that if it turns out to be the only drawback during the warranty period, we will not change it. UPD: 5 months, normal flight.
