Advantages:
1. Handsome. Looks great in the kitchen. In life, the color is not as bright as in studio photographs. 2. Both the water inside and the transparent power key are highlighted. 4. Much quieter than the previous metal Moulinex, on which the lid broke after 10 months. 5. Wide nose. Disadvantages:
Not found yet. How much time will tell. Yes, the walls of the kettle when it boils are very hot, because there is boiling water inside, and yes, condensation forms on the scale, because this is a kettle and there is water inside. This is if someone considers such things to be disadvantages.

Advantages:
1. Beautiful design, color, non-soiled matte surface texture. 2. The quality of workmanship is excellent. The lid opens and closes clearly, the switch on clearly works. off 3. Beautiful switch illumination incl. off and water from the inside of the kettle, it's cool when the water boils and bubbles rise.
Disadvantages:
On the bottom in the area of the heating element after 3 weeks, a plaque similar to lime appeared in places, although I have a good filter and this should not seem to be. But it doesn't look like rust either. I will watch.
Comment:
1. All metal teapots from the point of view of consumers have 2 drawbacks - water cools down quickly and you can burn yourself. Well, the first thing is not critical for me - the water boils and I immediately brew tea or coffee (for whom it is important, there are models with keeping warm). Second, if you take the handle, you won't get burned in principle. In the event of an accidental touch, a person instinctively withdraws his hand and in such a short time it is difficult to get a serious burn (does not apply to children). 2. The level indicator from 2 sides turns out to be a useful thing.Imagine he is standing on the tabletop and looking at you with a backlit window. In this case, the handle can be located either to the left or to the right of you. To whom it is more convenient to take with which hand, and orientate (especially if the kettle is in the corner). 3. Subjective feeling - in order for water to pour out of the neck, the kettle must be tilted almost horizontally. But while spilling past the glass, you still have to manage, the stream is uniform, there is no splashing.

I am very pleased with the kettle. And the design and speed of boiling water completely suits me! Some write in shortcomings that the kettle itself heats up, but for me this is not a problem. I have a kettle so that I can quite comfortably take it by the handle and pour tea without scalding. If you can do the same, then take it, you will not regret it! The kettle is great!

There is even a rubber seal on the lid. 4. The spout is very comfortable and wide, nothing spills, you can pour the kettle without opening the lid. 5. Light enough. 6. The cover opens 90 degrees. There is access inside. 7. Good build, no creaks, no gaps.
Disadvantages:
1. The price is very high. Similar Philips models are 1.5 times cheaper. What we pay for: design, scale, lighting. And inside, everything is the same. 2. Power 2200W, but in fact the range is specified as 1850-2200W. In terms of heating speed, it is average. 3. The lid is still flimsy. If you accidentally press it when it is open, it can be easily broken. Therefore, it is better to pour through the spout. 4. And the most important thing! SMELL. It is the presence of plastic inserts and elastic bands on the lid. It's almost invisible in the water itself, but the lid smells strong.

Of course, for this price, you want to expect better from the Philips brand. I would have put a solid 5 if not for the smell. Many write that it is not. How not? Any plastic smells, and then even when heated! We use it for a week, but there is a persistent chemical. the smell of rubber. It is the rubber insert on the lid that smells like. To be fair, I note that the water almost does not smell! Almost, because if you "sniff" for a very long time and strongly, you can find it. :-) Before that there was a steel Kettle Five, there was no smell from the very first boils, but it stands like a locomotive. Then they took a glass Redmond from their parents, the lid stank like a cheap Chinese tire, and then the glass burst in the area where the handle was attached (I decided to wash it). And now Philips is a bit disappointing. I hope that after a month of use, we will either get used to it, or the smell will disappear. And so I generally recommend.

Friends, there are such things, after the possession of which you no longer agree to something worse in quality. I had a bunch of different teapots, I treated them like a consumable - the lid broke off - I bought a new one; the white plastic got really dirty - I bought a new one. And not to say that I was buying very cheap ones - quite normal tefals, boshes and phillips. But once I was walking around the store, I pressed the button to open the lid of this kettle - what a thrill it is, how it opens! Smoothly, unhurriedly, gracefully even! Like the lambo doors of a sports car. I understand that an adult can enjoy a teapot like a Papuan - it seems like it is useless for beads, but the truth is, every morning this teapot gives me a few seconds of pleasure. And it's worth it!
