Disadvantages: Made in China ... at high volume the rear wall rattles slightly, I had to tighten all the bolts with a screwdriver, after which the rattling disappeared. It seemed to me that the screw terminals of the high-level input are somewhat flimsy, but if you do not reconnect 100 thousand times, then this is not important. The lack of a control panel is a big minus. A very bright power LED, reflected from the wall, illuminates half of the room :)))

Comment: I took it in addition to the B @ W 805 shelf units for a room of 22 m2 ... After 12 "sunfire subwoofer, the sound seemed like some kind of bubbling something, a little pressing on the ears ... most likely this is due to the fact that it is not really set it up and the sub is not yet warmed up, well, plus I’m not used to it yet .. UPD ... the sub played out, warmed up ... and ... well, I added the polochniki very well ...

For example, the Monitor Audio Silver RX8 speaker at the price of 60 thousand, which I recently said goodbye to, cannot compete with my set.

If you need more meat, there is an EQ switch on the back. The instructions say that there is a passive filter at the input of the subwoofer - but in fact, the filter is turned off and the entire frequency range is fired onto the subwoofer, the speaker starts farting. Be sure to enable Low-pass filter on the sub.

Comment: I got it at a sale for 10 tr. cheaper than the original price. The subwoofer is included in the system, in which, in addition to it, Onkyo R-N855 + HECO Celan Revolution 3 + Parasound Zamp v.3 work. It is necessary to support bass when working at low and low volume in a room of about 20 m2. The best sound, in my hearing, was obtained when connected with an acoustic wire from an amplifier. Very useful auto-on / off feature from 12v trigger. With the help of such triggers, I combined all the devices of the system into a set, which I control from one remote control from Onkyo R-N855. I am very pleased with the result and sound! Since the sub is not massive enough, there was a problem with ensuring its immobility and dissipation of vibrations, which, in turn, is needed for more accurate sound reproduction. As a result, after carefully studying the opinions of many sound lovers, I came to the conclusion that a way out can be found by transferring vibrations to a massive stand through metal spikes. As a result, he screwed in metal spikes, which he installed on a granite base 80 mm thick and weighing 21 kg. The bass has radically changed for the better, becoming more elastic, detailed, collected! After listening to the operation of the system with one sub-ohm for several months, I decided that in order to complete the transfer of the musical picture, a second subwoofer was needed. After the inclusion of two subwoofers in the system, the bass sound was transformed, and the overall sound of the system became truly spacious! I must say that the ASW608 seems to have no competition at all among the 8-inch active subwoofers for listening to music, both in terms of sound, size and connectivity, setup and control. Advantages: Great sound. Collected, legible and highly musical. I took DALI Zensor 1AX to the shelves for a square room of 9 sq. meters for music. Many settings, two types of input, automatic activation.

Disadvantages: There is no remote control, but probably in the future it will not be needed.

Comment: Sounds great. We will listen to all rock classics with pleasure. And it's not bad with modern electronics. In general, I am satisfied with the purchase, then if only we change everything together, including the room.
