I bought a velodyne impact mini, experimented for a week and realized - I can't listen to music with it! Sound with overtones as if from a bucket, and these overtones / overtones are louder than the sound itself. This hoarseness is very pressing on my head. I put a cut of 80 - in general, that there is a sub, that there is no, if there is more hoarseness. The character is very rude and aggressive. I took it and changed it to Jamo 210. After the big one, jamo is just a fairy tale. Soft crushing bass, only here the pressure is pleasant. And most importantly, it lends itself to customization, unlike the great one. With a cut of 80 it spills bass without hoarseness, and there is a beat. The velodine has either a bucket sound, or nothing. The reviews of the magazines that velodyne mini awarded are surprising, with a comment - "exemplary sounding", and they wrote about Jamo as an ordinary sub. Compared to velodyne, I would say that jamo generally sounds impeccable, and this is at a price difference of almost half. Correctly say - "do not believe the reviews, believe the reviews and ears." Figures in numbers, graphs, charts, and no matter how musically correct the sub is, if it is impossible to listen to it, then there is little value in all this. Total: for a room of 20m2 and inexpensive acoustics, Jamo 210 is an excellent choice, against the background of jbl, pits and others that I had a chance to listen to in the price category. The only sub that did not grunt, clapped or wheezed, and yet has a soft, neat and powerful sound. And this is despite its size and price. A very successful model.

Advantages: Everything is in place. Capacities for a regular room of 20 sq. m is more than enough, I never brought them to hoarseness, I practically never raise the volume control for more than half. Musicality at the level, did not notice rudeness in the sound. There is no "bubbling" at all. The bass is soft, elastic, percussive.

Disadvantages: So, a trifle. The knobs are completely smooth, cylindrical. When tuning blindly, it is difficult to sense their position. Beak would be the best solution. But I found a way out by gluing a protruding "border" from the material at hand on them.

Comment: I suffered for a long time with the adjustment (the lack of experience affected). The most important thing is to correctly determine the cutoff frequency. At first, I tried to achieve the "purest" sound, setting it to the minimum (at 40 Hz) in order to add only the lowest bass. However, it turned out that in comparison with its power, the shock midbass from the monitors (KRK RP6 G2) was lacking. As a result, I stopped at 80-100 Hz. I rarely get out of these limits, and only in the direction of decreasing. Basically, I only turn the volume knob. The monitors are located against a long wall, and for the subwoofer, after determining the location of its localization according to the well-known algorithm, the optimal place was at the opposite one, next to the listening chair.I also adjusted the phase, but in my case I didn't have to set it - I left it at zero. I USE ONLY FOR MUSIC. The bottom line. The subwoofer clearly exceeded my expectations. Very satisfied.

Advantages: I liked the bass very much, even in direct comparison with Velodine Impact 10. At the same time, very compact dimensions, all the necessary adjustments are there, auto on and off, a 6 meter coaxial cable included.

I risked the fact that I bought without even listening and in the end the sub did not upset! The bass is very good, it shakes with dignity! It is convenient that you can customize it for yourself. Another plus is that you do not need to turn it off every time to climb: including the receiver (yamaha rx375) and music / cinema, when a signal appears, it turns on itself. When listening to heavy, fast-paced music (Fear Factory - Slave labor; Slayer), I noticed that sometimes the bass is not much with delay. In other cases, it copes. In general, I am very pleased with him and the fact that he did not take another one more! I took it for 2300 UAH.

Advantages: Deep lingering bass. In general, good reproduction of bass tones. Each song works off the money invested in it. Movies are good too. But not to a tremor in the chest.

Initially, I planned to take rel t zero., Since after all it is a British firm specializing in subs. But rel was not impressed. He has such a bass that he is that he is not. Very weak and without depth. The subs from the Yamaha went into the "furnace" immediately. The same quality eltax. Heco also sucks that still. Remained expensive Sabs from monitor audio and jamo. When listening, everything was decided. Monica is clearly not worth their money, they play dirty. Jamo 210 was a pleasant surprise. The bass is neat, without delays, mumbling and hooting. Volume control for 10 o'clock. In music, he behaves like a real man. Where it is necessary is fast, and where it is necessary it is courteous and deep. Crossover on a 120 Hz receiver. On a subwoofer 200 Hz. If the budget is limited to 15 thousand rubles, that's it. And if you don't have 15 thousand, then you shouldn't buy a subwoofer.
