As a person who often works with wood, it is important for me that the raw material has a moisture content of no more than 10%.
This is important because the degree of humidity cannot be determined by touch, and if you put a raw workpiece, then a turned glass or bowl will inevitably crack and be irreparably damaged.
This device allows you to quickly and accurately determine the moisture content of wood. Moreover, wood species are divided into 8 categories - from the least dense, such as spruce, aspen, linden, to dense ones, such as oak, hornbeam, etc.
Moisture is measured by a non-contact method to a depth of 2 cm. On the back of the device there is a sensor that is applied to the surface of the tree. This device will also be useful for builders, because it allows you to measure the moisture content of concrete in as many as 4 categories!
In a word, this little helper allows you to avoid unnecessary waste in your work, especially when working with rare expensive wood. Didn't disappoint even once!
Would highly recommend to anyone working with wood!
Unlike needle moisture meters, it has a wider measurement range and a twice as large tree species base.
