Advantages: I will join other reviews.
Disadvantages: I think only the price. Although you have to pay for the quality.
Comment: Having a top-end computer somehow was not solid to play and listen to music with built-in audio. I decided to buy a card first, and later headphones (now a simple Panasonic for 1000 rubles). I chose for a long time, about three weeks. Already the head began to swell. All the same, I decided to opt for this map. What attracted you? There is a headphone amplifier (now the slider is no more than 25-30%); sound 7.1; DAC frequency (stereo) 192 kHz; there are two microphone inputs (for those who love karaoke); according to reviews on specialized forums, it is almost the best of the internal sound cards from Creative. Installed ... I have Windows 10 64 bit. And .... the computer does not see the card. I went to the manufacturer's website and downloaded firewood from there. And everything became buzzing! No wonder many people write that it is not necessary to install from the included disk. And what did I get? On my budget headphones, the sound is just super! And in FLAC format it's just something !!!! Yes, I'm afraid to imagine what quality will be when I buy decent ears. In general, I'm happy as an elephant! :) P.S. for those who play WoT. I didn’t know that before the fight, on the respawn, the wind was making noise and the birds were singing!

Advantages: First of all, a resampler) it is just gorgeous on the card! I expected the same flaws as on Live! / X-Fi, but none of this was noticed) The card copes 100% with the music playback function. In addition, the card is devoid of absolutely all the glitches that X-Fi had under Windos 7! This is actually surprising, since it was the possible glitches that scared me a little when ordering the card.
Disadvantages: Driver))) The very first thing that can be considered a disadvantage is that when installed for some reason, the timbres are shifted by -4 dB, which greatly spoils the impression since the frequencies are greatly reduced, many write that the sound is worse than on the built-in ... yes, with with a timbre balance of -4 dB, it is like that, but with a corrected one - the sound becomes better. Is it the second drawback or drawback? The fact that the card has a slightly irregular behavior when choosing a sampling rate of 96 KHz ... the tops disappear somewhere ... is corrected by listening to either 48 or 192. This manifests itself on Windows 7 x64 ... (in any case, I ). Another disadvantage of the driver is that you can write the installation of system files to c: \ windows \ temp (which is not entirely correct) and is corrected by installing the drivers that I rebuilt ... there those files that are put in temp are installed in creaf. In addition, when installing, dsound.dll is installed in creaf, which is included in alchemy ... the drivers can be found in google.com at the request of CrashOverride IXBT Bass Redirect on Audigy RX.Of the programs that really need to be installed, this is the control panel and that's all) good, it is not buggy for Creative) Another disadvantage of the driver is the impossibility of copying a 24-bit signal through What U Hear if the Bit Accurate Playback mode is not enabled)
Comment: Experimentally I found out that the card sounds best at 48/24 with Bit Accurate Playback and 48/24 without Bit Accurate Playback, in any case if you need to record from the What U Hear source (this is a recording of everything we hear), 96 and 192 kHz for some reason lead to a blockage of high-pass filtering (again, for me) and the cut starts from the 16-17 kHz border for 96 kHz and from the 18.5-19 kHz border for 192 kHz ... at 48 kHz / 24 sampling there is no such cutoff bit and the frequency spectrum is skipped from 5 Hz to 23302 Hz. VERY IMPORTANT!!! If you copy a signal using What U Hear, set in Windows 7 to play only 48/24, and to record 48/16 ... you can write at least in 48/16 at least in 48/24 ... the sound is copied correctly. If you put 48/24 playback and 48/24 recording or 48/16 playback and 48/16 recording in Windows, then you cannot remove a blank copy from What U Hear, you get jitter and very noticeable. All of this applies to the hassle-free mode in which Bit Accurate Playback is not enabled. Another goodness that I finished off is that Bass Redirect, which the card does not have initially, has now become possible) the bun can be found in google.com by request CrashOverride IXBT Bass Redirect on Audigy RX I hope this will help many who are experiencing acoustic problems 5.1 and 7.1 The card is very good in terms of sound quality) I recommend it to everyone.

Advantages: An excellent card, you can customize it strictly for yourself.
Disadvantages: everything meets expectations if you have good acoustics, or good monitors
Comment: People, to tune it for better sound, you have to climb in the settings, and then you will hear something you did not know about before! I highly recommend it, especially to those who listen through headphones! sound bomb, power! will swing headphones even from China) and if you want quality, buy good monitors)

Advantages: Decent workmanship, excellent functionality (especially for karaoke singers and moviegoers), good value for money. But the main advantage is the sound itself. First of all, I would like to highlight the excellent stereoscopy: the separation of the channels is audible with the naked ear, the positioning of imaginary sources is very reliable, at least along the width of the scene. On the standard Realtek, this was not even close! There is also volume in the sound, it's just not so clear. There are also no complaints about the range - the tops, mids and bottoms are clearly distinguishable, the dynamics are good, nothing sticks out and does not merge into a mess. For reference, if anyone is interested: I use this card with a classic multimedia stereo pair Sven MA-332, I don’t recognize any subwoofers, because, in my opinion, they are justified only in action games and when watching movies, but in music any of these " uchalok "only accentuates the bass unnecessarily and thus upsets the whole picture. By the way, I listen to music in the widest dynamic and frequency range - from progressive and heavy music (doom, power, melodic death) to "smart" electronics and academic minimalism. In general, I can judge the capabilities of this sound more or less objectively ...
Disadvantages: The volume margin is small in comparison with the old Creative's, so the amplification stage is apparently rather weak. It is very unfortunate, because on quiet tracks all the time you have to turn the volume of the speakers to maximum (which does not always help) or increase the overall volume level in the system (which is inconvenient, since the sounds of the operating system itself begin to shout). There are also complaints about the software: 1.At first I used it on Piggy, and in general everything was fine (despite the fact that during the installation of the software, the installer was "happy" that the device driver was not tested for compatibility with Windows XP, which undoubtedly delivered), but the Creative diagnostic utility constantly fell off after just a few days of work in the system. Basically - nonsense, but you can't throw out words from a song ... 2. Then I was forced to switch to modern Windows 8.1 (32-bit), and here a more interesting "jamb" was revealed! At first, when setting the reference frequency up to 192 kHz, there were no problems. But as soon as the special music lover's Stereo Direct mode (aka Bit Accurate) was activated, at 192 kHz a distinct "sand" appeared in the sound and the volume dropped sharply. You lower the frequency to 48 or 96 and everything sounds right again. The humor is that in the Stereo Direct / Bit Accurate mode, in theory, hardware resampling of the audio stream should occur to a frequency of just 192 kHz! In general, not a very clear joke, but the fact is obvious ...
Comment: To everyone who "fumbles" in the components, and simply to those who are curious, I give details on the filling: almost all G-Luxun condensers, PLX amplification chip (native Japanese), Cirrus-Logic DAC (not Burr-Brown, of course, not the same money), and the E-MU CA1030 chip itself (from the "Creative" itself, and not from any Realteks and other C-Media). In conclusion, a few tips for setting up for everyone who has not yet got tired of my sheet))) 1. Be sure to level the frequency in the system, because by default the levels are really filled up with "minus", as already reported by one user before me. 2. If you also have artifacts in the sound at a sampling rate of 192 kHz (with the Bit Accurate mode activated), then do not be alarmed - feel free to set 96 or at least 48 kHz. Should help. 3.Be sure to activate charcoal and Stereo Direct / Bit Accurate mode if you want to get the best quality when listening to music. With it, the sound becomes SO dense that we literally feel it. Plus, the drums immediately come to life - the effect of presence is such that it seems as if the drummer is thrashing right in your room just a meter away! The keyboards will also sound very natural and even more transparent, but I generally keep quiet about the wind instruments - the sax and flute are just like real ones! With guitars, the gain is not so obvious, although I note that heavy riffs become even heavier, and solos are even more piercing. There is also some profit in the films, at least the shots are so realistic that you shudder ... In general, if you rate this feature, you will definitely not regret buying! ..

Advantages: Very good sound. Suitable for entry-level, non-fanatical audiophilia. Well, the price - the price is adequate to the quality (I took it for 2490 rubles) Suitable for a long listening session, the sound does not tire.
Disadvantages: A lot of unnecessary stuff is crammed into the driver-pack, for example, karaoke. But you can choose to install only the driver.
Comment: In order for the card to open up and sound audiophile, a number of conditions must be met. Firstly, music is needed only in flac format, on the MP-3 you will feel some "simplification" of the sound. And secondly, the card is fully opened only when working with the asio 24/96 driver (installed in the native drivers, from the disk attached to the card). Personally, I use the foobar player, there are many plugins for it that allow you to resample the standard 44100 Hz sound at 96 kilohertz. After receiving such a stream, the card automatically switches to bit-fidelity playback mode. The sound becomes ... almost perfect for a computer device. I own an asus D1 card and an external Fiio E10 DAC. So, the Audigy RX outperforms them. The sound of the Fiov DAC seems to be more "simplified", flatish and "poor" in comparison with it. And asus has "caustic" very tiresome during long listening, tops and more "flat" scene.Audigy RX sounds juicy and airy at the same time. Sound with honest, clear highs. The bass is elastic and does not overlap the middle, which in turn is very detailed. PS. I will add that we are talking only about listening with headphones (I use Axelvox HD242). I can't say anything about the sound of this card in the speakers, I don't use them. In my opinion, the card is designed to work with headphones. I also play with headphones, stereo sound in games is normal, I can't say anything about multichannel.

Advantages: Everything is easy and understandable, from installing drivers to the control panel and software. Full compatibility with any 7 and 8. The settings do not fly off as on the old Audigy 2 value. Adequate operation at all sampling rates with any "bit".
Disadvantages: not detected.
Comment: I am more than satisfied with the card. Recommend.

Advantages: Great sound! all the necessary inputs / outputs.
Disadvantages: Native driver from Creative
Comment: I got this card from TechnoPoint-Chelyabinsk. I inserted it into the computer, downloaded the latest driver from the Creative website. My speakers are Edifier S330, connected through optics and Edifier H850 headphones. In general, with the native drivers, the sound was terrible, even in comparison with the built-in realtek. From the contact it was impossible to listen to music, everything wheezed and cracked. Foobar with all the settings was also rather weak. I took down my native driver, installed it from Daniel_K, and here it is, I got what I expected from the card. The sound became clear, nothing rattles, nothing crackles. It is a pleasure to listen to music from various sources. In games, too, everything is great. In Battlefield 4 I heard a lot of new sounds that were not available before. Footsteps of enemies can be heard far away, which is important. In Skyrim, I stood for a few minutes in an open field and enjoyed the surrounding sounds and music. I recommend, just do not install the native drivers!

Advantages: I was pleasantly surprised by the sound, even after my creative audigy se, which was better than the built-in one. The drivers stood up for one or two (unlike the same SE)
Disadvantages: Two mic outputs ... why? why creative ??!?!?!? it would be better to have separate line-out and headphone-out ...
Comment: I brought it home, opened it, shoved it into the system unit, put the firewood on ... and was surprised that my UR 40s can still win back! though they could not stand the sound) they merged in the middle of the volume, but the speakers played differently - the sound definitely became richer, new sounds appeared where they had not been heard before even in headphones. the stump is clear, everything is in a bottle, at least 1mbit, for mp3 I had enough inserts.

Advantages: Decent sound quality Supports 3D gaming audio standard EAX up to 4.0 HD Supports quality up to 192 khz and 24 bit
Disadvantages: The original drivers from Creative do not give quite an acceptable sound, more on this in the comments Just a few proprietary programs for adjusting the sound initially There is no color indication of the connectors on the back (which is for a microphone, external sound source and speakers)
Comment: The sound card was purchased about 3 years ago to replace the built-in sound card. Under Windows XP there is iron support for the EAX standard, for newer systems this is solved by Creative Alchemy. I installed a package of drivers and programs from Daniel K, the sound quality has increased significantly. However, the quality is inferior to the Creative Play USB soundcard on my laptop. This sound card is intended for those who want to record sound from two microphones at once (there are two microphone connectors) For those who need a higher sound quality compared to the sound card built into the motherboard, and those who want three-dimensional sound in games , you can recommend this card. For those who want the perfect sound, it is worth looking at something more expensive. (for those who want cheaper, there is a Creative SB Audigy FX sound card, it does not differ much from this one)
