Advantages: Cleans well Reliable Wheel release triggers Heated grips
Disadvantages: Joystick
Comment: Update after a year of use: - Joystick is inconvenient. According to experience of use, 90% of the time the chute is turned either strictly to the left or strictly to the right. Constantly turning the joystick is inconvenient and sometimes just hard - a small lever due to the small angle of the cutter. Also, sometimes the joystick button sticks. I tried the mechanism of accelerated rotation in the store by rotating the handle - much more convenient. Too bad I didn't try it before buying. Also, in my opinion, it would be convenient as in models with two levers (one is responsible for the throw distance, the second for the angle of rotation). - useless (slow) reverse speeds. It would be better to add 2 more front ones. - the chute, turned to the right, closes the headlamp Otherwise, only pluses: - always (!) is started manually the first time, tried to -15. Why does he need an electric starter - it is not clear, but let it be) - the snow throws far away. The more snow (well, or the higher the speed), the further. In any case, you don't have to think about it; on a village road, it throws itself to any side of the road, regardless of location. In this case, you can safely throw through the already cleaned one. - cleans any amount of snowfall. Wet snow does not stick until it has completely turned into water. Problems happen only with wet snow that has fallen from the roof, but if you clean it right away, it will take it. The "breastwork" that appears after the tractor takes the bucket to the full height. - heated handles are a thing! I didn't focus on them when choosing, but in vain, they help a lot. Regarding size and weight, the opinion is twofold: to clean in the area between cars, etc. - too big. To clean roads is too small. See for yourself what your task is. I clean parking lots and paths on the site (1.5 acres) and 300 meters of the road - that's it. (By the way, this takes about an hour, regardless of the amount of snow) Summary: I recommend buying, but if you have enough budget, look at their 3X models, it is more convenient to turn the chute there.

Advantages: Sufficient power, excellent maneuverability, adequate price
Disadvantages: Nothing significant
Comment: I bought this snow blower in the fall of 2012. I plowed three winters. Weight is not less than 80kg and the brand is the main input. Next, I wanted a wheel unlock function. I wanted the ability to start the engine from the 220v network. I wanted a small grip width (60 cm), under the width of the narrowest available paths. The final choice was made of two models - Cab Cadet 524SWE or Husqvarna (approximately equal to Cadet, I don't remember the model anymore). I have been using Cab Cadet 524SWE for three winters and I do not regret that I made this very choice. Weight (stated 84kg.) Is on the verge of minimum. It is too light for cleaning the snow that has slid off the roof. There is a small drawback, at least on my copy - the reverse speed, there are two of them, well, sooooo slow. I never use them, I roll them back with my hands, it's faster (the relative lightness of the unit works for the benefit here). The power of the snow blower is impressive. For all the time with me, he never choked. Snow throwing range is long. I use an electric starter from 220v only when the engine is first started after the summer. Otherwise, the recoil starter will start the engine without problems. The noise during the operation of the snow blower is not strong, I would say such a pleasant track. The chute of snow discharge is clogged, only when cleaning wet (specifically current) snow. The plastic on the gutter is very durable, you should not chase the metal one, in my opinion the plastic rumblings less and does not rust, and in terms of strength it is not inferior to the metal one. I use them to clean the paths on a 60-1000cm wide area with a total length of 50 meters, a site in front of the house of 40m2, a parking lot for three cars and a road 60m X 3m. There is a video of cleaning packed snow from the lawn in the spring of 2013, it's a pity there is no way to attach it to the review

Advantages: Convenient, reliable, lightweight
Disadvantages: light
Comment: Actually, I have been using it for the second year, although it is declared as a novelty on YAM. No complaints. The snow blower is quite light, this is a plus - it is easy to maneuver and a minus - sometimes there is not enough grip, it would be heavier - maybe it would pass. It manifests itself in turns - one wheel is spinning and the SU does not go - you have to push. Maybe this is nit-picking. Otherwise, everything is fine. Quite a lot of extra. options for the price. The assembly is declared as USA. True, I had a stamp "Made in Canada" on the crate, and the barcode was generally German, but MTD has its headquarters there, it seems. Yes, the description on the NM states: The material of the snow discharge chute is metal. Really plastic. Such thick, high-quality plastic. He has his own engine, not B&S, but also good, judging by the description and the first year of operation. No complaints, breakdowns, etc. did not have. Two years later, the flight is normal. It regularly performs its functions. Several shear bolts are broken due to large cobblestones (sometimes I clean the site and access roads outside the territory). It always starts without problems with a manual starter. I don't use electric, there was no need. Satisfied.

Advantages: Quality goods.
Comment: The snowblower, which we have been choosing and buying from you for a long time, did not disappoint. All winter my husband was cleaning the yard and street from the falling snow with great pleasure. We advise you to clean soft, loose snow. So that the snow blower works without overloading.

Advantages: Convenient, works properly
Disadvantages: No
Comment: So far, I have not had a single complaint about this snow blower, although I have been using it for even more than a year. Nevertheless, during this time, it works very well. In addition, I also like the fact that it is quite convenient to use. It's just easy to handle it, and also with snow removal, I succeed without any problems. In general, I do not regret the purchase.
