Disadvantages: The drive from the motor to the auger goes through a toothed belt. With excessive force (for example, on the move in a large snowdrift / wet snow), the teeth on the strap will shear. The belt is not sold separately. The first time I bought it in the SC. Agreed that I will change myself. I changed it, but vowed not to climb there anymore - it is VERY inconvenient. The second time I took it to the SC to replace the belt. Somehow, during the cleaning, a stone came across - the body cracked. Fastened the crack with screws. BUT!! The new model has a plastic auger - accordingly, it can easily crack, but it will no longer be possible to fasten it, since there will be an imbalance.

Comment: I bought it like a toy. I thought I would indulge in a year, break and throw it out. Has been serving for three years. Suitable for small areas. But only with a metal auger !!!

Advantages: It does not work loudly, although the electric motor is powerful. The throwing direction can be easily adjusted manually.

Disadvantages: no

Comment: Conveniently, it is powered by electricity, you do not need to think about gasoline. I am clearing a small area in front of the house. I clean it regularly, so there is no loose snow. It is not difficult to work with it, I push it where it needs to be cleaned, the wheels run without slipping. Snow is being thrown far away.

Advantages: Comfortable wheels do not impede movement on snow.

Comment: The engine is powerful, freshly fallen snow removes efficiently. When working, it must be pushed forward, it is not difficult, since there are wheels. The auger system is single-stage, it rakes and throws snow almost 5 meters. The direction of the chute is manually adjusted. Not noisy, does not take up much space during storage.

Comment: suitable for a summer cottage, cleaning the entrance to the house and paths, the height is sufficient not to bend, takes snow of any hardness, takes up a minimum of space, light and fast. It saves a lot of time and effort, I highly recommend it. I recommend cleaning regularly as I think meter-long snowdrifts may not be excavated.

Despite the large amount of metal, the construction seems rather flimsy. The mother-in-law coped with the first launch herself. The machine removes snow really well. It spreads a thick weekly layer of freshly fallen snow without any problems. I also coped with the caked snowdrift formed from the snow melting from the roof of the bathhouse - I threw the machine to the very top and layer by layer removed the snowdrift to zero. The ejection direction is regulated by a special knob. In the off state, it turns hard, but when the engine is running (most likely due to vibration) it is easy. I recommend that you carry the key from the kit. the nut that fixes the angle of release unwinds from vibration, and the snow flies up. Better yet, instead of a nut, wind the lamb and squeeze it with your hands when required. The cord is very short 10-15 centimeters. So stock up on a decent extension cord in advance. The machine hums moderately. The hum is pleasant - low. Hollow plastic wheels without bearings whistle and creak. The motor hardly heats up. It grinds branches, pulls out and throws out the frozen crushed stone in places where it lies poorly, cones and fine ice are not a problem. She refused to take a dense packed snowdrift. The thickness of snow that had accumulated from October to March was scattered in several passes (layer by layer). The machine has an additional handle on the body that allows you to throw it to any height. The bottom line. I am very pleased with the purchase. In the city, you can buy Chinese counterparts like Total. They have plastic augers. 1 kV electric shovels are unlikely to handle a lot of snow. P.S. Found the barcode, made in Russia. Attention! Comment: I clear a small area near the house from all kinds of snow. While working, I push it in front of me. The wheels are quite maneuverable, so I didn't have to push hard yet, except perhaps scooping up a large and packed pile of snow. A strip of 40 cm and a height of 16 cm is processed with it in one pass.
