Advantages:
Camera, sound, screen, design.
Disadvantages:
Battery or power consumption.
Comment:
Appeared, left a request, called back immediately. They said to wait 3-5 days. The next day they called back and said I can pick it up. Came, printed, tested, checked everything for about 20 minutes. I took it, despite one but. The screen turns yellow to the bottom. Yes it's true. But don’t care, you don’t notice it in the videos and pictures. Only on a white background. The phone is just a bomb. Very pleasant feeling from use. HTC - that says it all. The shell, settings for touch, edges, faces, everything works conveniently and beautifully. The coolest advantages of the device are sound and camera (both photo and video). Detail and luminosity. Algorithms for image processing and bit enhancement give fantastic results. The sound, it's cool, of course, better than everywhere else, but I expected a little more. I had an m8mini2, I thought how many models have already passed, but he is better here, but not much. I heard some tracks in a new way, there were sounds that I had not heard before. I could not fully appreciate it, because I haven't listened to the flaki yet. And the only thing that upset was the battery. Yes, the phone eats it up very greedily. Everything works naturally - instantly. Perhaps the assistant still underexamined how I use it, and keeps everything at a quick start, or updates, doped, energy efficient ones will be issued. After all, this percentage is for artificial intelligence, while these technologies are just being introduced, they will eat up the battery. But, the smart is so pleasant that you can score on the battery life, use it with pleasure, charging it a couple of times a day. Full cycle of quick charge 100-110 minutes. I definitely recommend it to those who know HTC.

Advantages:
The first thing that catches your eye is the design. A very cool feature with a translucent body - it looks very cool. The sound in the headphones of relatives is very cool. There are wireless beats ... but after the native wired ones, to be honest, I don't want to use them, even despite the obvious convenience. It fits comfortably in the hand - I liked the one-handed mode (the working area of the screen is reduced) and Edge Sens (I set the Edge Sensor panel for a short compression, a flashlight for a long compression + double-pressing the power button to start the camera). There are no complaints about the cameras (the only thing was there were all sorts of chips like in the snapchat - in my opinion they are useless at all .. but apparently someone needs it). In the evening and at night, it turns out to shoot even handheld.
Disadvantages:
Before that there was u11 +, there was a little more battery, but in fact the operating time is the same. Enough for a day. If you turn on the power saving mode, then you can even stretch for 1.5-2 days. But it's not always comfortable with him on a sunny day in summer - so I usually turn it off.
Comment:
It lies very comfortably in the hand (the glass was rounded, apparently very well). The optical zoom is 2x good (it has always been lacking in a smart phone for photos). Now I'm playing with auto-zoom on the video (very smooth zoom over the object). After updating the firmware, subjectively, it became better to photograph, plus we fixed the random triggering of the edges (in principle, it did not bother), but it's better). There are headphones in the kit, but there is no adapter ... but I have it since U11 +;) I also received a gift by pre-order)

Advantages:
Camera Sound quality (HTC Usonic in particular and headphones included) Screen Filling Build quality Well protected from moisture, unlike other flagships (this does not mean that it can be thrown into a pond / river / lake)
Disadvantages:
Side panel buttons Fast battery drain No headphone jack (no adapter)
Comment:
Pros: 1) Dual camera The photos are just awesome (and believe me, I like to take pictures), 60 fps video goes without such problems as on the latest iPhones (in terms of video format compatibility) 2) The phone stuffing itself is top-end (but still you could throw in 8GB of RAM, and not 6) 3) Sound quality, built-in HTC Usonic. Music really sounds better in your sound profile, which adjusts to you. 4) HTC finally managed to take a buttonless screenshot of the screen. This button is present in the navigation bar if you swipe to the left (also capture a video of your screen). I do not argue about the minuses ... One of the main ones is the three terrible buttons on the side panel on the right. And if you look objectively, these are not even buttons, because they simply cannot be pressed. When you "press" them, a mini-vibration occurs in the phone, which Allegedly emulates a normal button. Also, the buttons between presses have a pause per second (or even more), this is very annoying. Besides, apparently, they are touch-sensitive, because when I just touch the power button with a small part of my hand, the phone goes out. And of course, the smart people at HTC decided to follow the fashion and take away the headphone jack. Now there is only one USB Type-C hole that prevents you from listening to music and charging the phone at the same time, even the adapter was greedy. Speaking of charging ... The phone is enough it quickly sits down if it is actively used despite its almost 4000 mAh battery. Edge sense is a rather controversial point ... For I myself have learned to use one hand on the "shovels." Of course, to some extent it is convenient, but not more. Since the phone has a certain compression point, then you still need to put your hand on These two sides, otherwise it won't work. For those who hold and use the phone with their right hand, I advise you to turn off double-tap, because every touch you touch under the power button will be accompanied by an unnecessary action that you have chosen in the settings, without wanting to. Another controversial point is the photo password (it will become a problem if you wear glasses on an ongoing basis)

Advantages:
1. Six-inch screen. 2. High productivity. 3. Acceptable battery life. 4. A decent amount of internal memory (128 GB). 5. Excellent camera (for a smartphone). 6. Pleasant, loud sound from external speakers. 7. Not afraid of immersion in water. 8. The device stands out against the background of iPhones and es-ninths by its exclusivity - you cannot buy it in chain stores. 9. He's just beautiful! )
Disadvantages:
1. To connect headphones with a TRS 3.5 (mini-jack) jack, you need to buy a separate adapter. 2. There is no convenient cover-book a la Dot View, like the M8 (opened - the screen turned on, closed - turned off, tapped on the cover - and saw the current time). Anyway. I ordered a couple of covers for a new device (silicone bumper and "book") from the online store. Maybe you will like some ...
Comment:
I received the phone with a translucent back part Translucent Blue by courier from an online store. I must say right away that I liked the device. Before U12 +, my main phone was HTC One M8, and my backup was an iPhone 6s. I unsuccessfully dropped the M8 into the bathtub, but I could not adapt to the iPhone (there is not enough built-in memory for my music collection in FLAC format, there is no slot for a flash drive, and the screen is too small). I seriously considered Samsung S9 + as a purchase, held the device in my hands, but the rounded screen scared me off. Its edges, at least in store lighting, were very glare. I decided to take a closer look at U12 +. The main "horror films" about this device in the reviews and reviews were as follows: touch buttons do not work well, display brightness is low, there are spots on the display, short battery life, software is buggy. The display of my device is uniformly backlit, there are no complaints here. I set the brightness slider to about 65% with auto adjustment. In this mode, the brightness is sufficient, and the phone consumes battery power sparingly. As for the touch buttons, it didn't take long to get used to them. They work consistently and predictably. But the battery life on the first day of using the device seemed insufficient. I checked for software updates, installed version 1.21.411.3, and put the main applications in energy saving mode. Now, with the standard mode for me (wake up at 5:30, hang up at 22:00), 40-50% of the battery charge remains for the next night charge, which, I think, is not bad. I do not turn on the energy-saving mode of the screen, because it greatly reduces the brightness. There were no glitches / freezes of OS and applications on my U12 + for 2 weeks of use. The phone comes with a decent plastic bumper and headphones with a USB Type-C connector. Headphones, in my ear, are good. Now I listen to music in them. Yes, I put a 128 GB flash drive in my phone. Now the total amount of memory is 256 GB. And you can put a USB flash drive for a larger volume. For music lovers / moviegoers / photographers - that's it!

Advantages:
1. Original design: arrangement of cameras, glass protruding above the body, touch buttons. 2. Cool weight distribution - the device tries to slip out of hand less (I compare it with HTC 10), although the elongated 6-inch screen does not have any special advantages over the 5.2-inch one, but with the classic aspect ratio. 3. Very cool and loud sound - really, like a mini-speaker. 4. The cover is scolded in vain - an excellent complete cover, very dense and tough - it will not come off and at the end of 2 weeks of wear it is still unnoticeable. 5. Touch buttons are an excellent solution - no false alarms, no "get used to" - everything is fine with them. Mechanics in this technique is an anachronism. 6. Cameras are super. There are many reviews on this topic. For those 5 devices that are higher in cameras in the DXOMARK rating, everything else in the phone is worse). 7. No unnecessary 3.5 mm hole. (although the USB type C plug is larger than the standard 3.5 plug and you have to be more careful not to break the jack with it). 8. The screen is very cool - the characteristics speak for themselves. 9. Great autonomy - by the evening, 40-50% of the charge remains, and has ceased to be put on recharge in the car. 10. Photo password is very convenient. eleven.A lot has appeared and remained from the old interesting things in the shell: customizable system buttons at the bottom (of which there are as many as 8); setting up disabling blocking when communicating with trusted devices via Bluetooth; customizable night screen illumination, customization of different headphones, proprietary utility for optimizing power consumption, freeing up RAM and regular memory, etc. 12. Edgesens is a useful but subjective thing. Because there are so many use cases and settings. I immediately turned off the tapping - it's inconvenient. But I set up single compression to call a spinner disk with shortcuts - I took out frequent contacts and applications there and now I do not go to the menu and contacts (I used to put a separate widget on frequent ones - on a separate screen). 13. Moisture resistance - I haven't tested it, but it's nice that it is there - just in case.
Disadvantages:
1. The headset is simpler than in HTC 10 - gray, not black, the design was a little more beautiful before. The sound is fine. 2. The fingerprint scanner on the back is inconvenient (but now everyone has it). 3. It is difficult to find accessories, but in the corporate online store there are still good covers and Alik has them (I ordered a pair for myself in reserve for now). 4. It is practically not sold anywhere and is very expensive, but I grabbed a stock in one of the few chain stores where I still remained with a 33% discount. It definitely justifies 44 rubles. 5. In the dark, the Always on screen displays uneven illumination from below - the lower corners are darkened. But - it is visible only in the dark and only in this mode. This happens on different devices and from different manufacturers in displays.
Comment:
I replaced HTC 10 with this device, only positive emotions. The pros and cons are described taking into account the comparison of the 2 models. From the negative - only a crooked synchronization (maybe my hands are crooked) - the contacts in the new phone first doubled, then they got lost. I tried to clean it - I lost half of the contacts after several syncs. Also, you can no longer sit down with phones in tight jeans - it is longer and you remember that it is not monolithic. 10 - you can even dig the earth and there were no worries that it would bend in your pocket, even in the back. I highly recommend the adherents of the brand - everything is again at its best, the device has its own face, also because we may no longer see phones from them.

Advantages:
1. Sound. Perfect both in the phone's speakers and in the "native" headphones. Excellent noise canceling function. 2. Screen. Clarity and color rendition are excellent. 3. Very smart. 4. Camera. I was impressed by the detailing of the photo 5. Fast charging. 2 hours from 1% to 100% 6. Ability to work with a smartphone with gloves.
Disadvantages:
1. Battery. 3500 Ah is not enough, but it feels even less. 2. Heats up. Compared with Xiaomi Mi8. After 30 minutes of playing, the Chinese is barely warm, but the U12 + heats up noticeably mainly on the sides of the case. 3. It is not possible to listen to music and charge. But this is a problem with almost all modern smartphones and wired headphones.
Comment:
I noticed that the screen without the included mode "in gloves" does not register the touch of the screen well. This makes typing quickly without typos impossible. The official HTC center said that the problem is not common and may be related to the crooked software. They promised to fix it. UPD. The problem with poor registration of screen touches was solved by flashing the smartphone. As they said in the official HTC service: the problem is widespread and "heals" quickly. Fixed in 30 minutes.

Advantages:
Super camera !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The sound of the player is FANTASTIC !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy as an elephant !!!!!!!!! Internet speed is excellent !!!!!!!!!! Looks presentable !!!!!!!!
Disadvantages:
Dear!!!!! And a very sensitive face sensor)))))))) I turned off this option, it constantly detects me and turns on, it's not convenient.
Comment:

September 27, 2018, Domodedovo
Advantages:
1. HTC, I already have the 4th model. 2. HTC Sense is probably the best shell, and I hold on to it. 3. SOUND! like m7 and m8, my oldies did not disappoint, my ears are dear - fire! 4. The design is cool! Blue, I immediately covered it, soiled. 5. Speed. Sho Internet to use, sho games - flies! 6. Cameras - fire everything! Pts many original functions!
Disadvantages:
maybe it's okay for some. Very easily soiled, the cover is included, but hard, I put the silicone right away, not to spoil the beauty. No 3.5, I took an expensive adapter - not suitable ... The price is steep.
Comment:
More satisfied than expected!
22 july 2019
Advantages:
Stylish, smart device. Good performance, never slowed down or overheated under loads. There are no complaints about the battery, the charge holds well with active use (I talk a lot, on the way to work I listen to audiobooks, music, sometimes play puzzles, work in the browser, most of the charge is spent on the navigator and programs that use GPS navigation). By the end of the working day, 50% percent remains. I was very pleased with the sound, both with headphones and without them. The camera is good too.
Disadvantages:
Very slippery, on the very first day I fell off the table from a vibration alert without a cover, then fell in a standard cover (included with the purchase) and also from vibration when calling. I replaced the cover - the problem disappeared. Wise up with smart buttons, or I don't know how to use them. When setting up your phone, incl. adjusted the pressure on the side buttons. So now it turned out that every other time I press not with the force with which I should press and the phone does not react, considering that this is an accidental press. I guess I need to reconfigure them, but my hands have not yet reached. I do not consider these shortcomings to be critical.
Comment:
I am satisfied with the device, I generally like HTC, I have never had a problem phone. I changed the last HTC One to this one just like that (I used it for 3 years and there were no problems with it). It is a little difficult to find accessories for it, in stores it is almost unrealistic, I ordered it online, the waiting period was also surprised - the desired cover was waiting for 2 weeks. I advise you to take it in an official store, tk. in many stores you can get a device that is not intended for our market. Well, or call the official technical support and punch the phone. I wanted it in red, I found it in 1 store (by the way, it was cheaper by 5 thousand than in other stores). I ordered, did not pay attention when ordering that the guarantee is given by the store, when turned on, the suspicion crept in that the phone was gray, tk. the default language was similar to the Arabic script, I called support, they said that it was not for Russia. They also said that red phones are produced only for Arab countries :)
June 17, 2019, Moscow
Advantages:
Very high-quality camera, digital audio output type C is a huge plus, the screen is good, eyes don't get tired, very loud and high-quality speaker, conversational is also high-quality
Disadvantages:
The battery would be more and so for a day and a half is enough
Comment:
Edge sense is very good comfortable
