I bought from one operator (aka 827F), unlocked http://huaweicodecalculator.com/algo/index.php, and the main secret: with a weak reception, the modem consumes> 500mAh, so the modem-in-usb will catch badly and freeze, you need power either into the router itself powered by a sufficient power supply unit, or a usb pigtail and immediately into 2 usb ports, it works for me in 3G mode being plugged into a huawei-af23 router powered by a 2A power supply, the router recognized the modem without any firmware / switching to non-standard modes, stuck in and drove off, only apn entered, 4G is not visible yet, but there is hope)

I bought it for a head on an android in a car. Android 2.3, the head is Chinese. I got it through ppp-widget without any problems, the only thing is that ppp-widget takes a little time to determine, about 40 seconds. Otherwise, even without external antennas, Internet radio plays stably (bitrate 192), at speeds up to 120 km / h. Through an external antenna I caught 4G from a neighboring city and has been working stably on it for a long time, although I only hoped to improve the speed on 3G. The program installs and loads quickly, without having to take any action. Dual-core chip processor.
Disadvantages:
It needs a good USB 2.0 or 3.0 extension cable. Only one USB 2.0 extension cable 3 meters, with a ferrite ring, works fine with it, it refused to work with two more. In the program interface, a line of traffic has gone somewhere in the last hours, which is a pity.

The best modem that I had ... Compared to the previous 3G, it is much more convenient, plus a high speed, 20-25 m / bit is real almost always. Works fine with USB 3.0 extension too

I took the h modification (more recent hardware), the original, not locked. All that was needed for work: - insert a SIM card (beeline) - ... - profit! Connected to the laptop - it works. Connected to the router - it works (Asus RT-N56U) Hilink mode, immediately froze, without tambourines - 30/10. Excellent, very satisfied, I don't even remember when it happened - I just plugged it in and it works.

I bought a mobile communication from the operator purely out of interest as a model with increased characteristics in terms of data transfer speed - up to 150 MB / s, although the operator's networks do not even reach 65 MB / s. Immediately I unlocked and reloaded the modem's software with dash. The modem heats up slightly during operation. I'm satisfied with the purchase so far.

Disadvantages:
Does not work with Upvel 344AN4G Wi-Fi router. Dancing with a tambourine did not help (
