Comment: Speed. I compare it based on my usual modem e3372h ... It was faster ... For comparison during the test, via USB for a speed test at 3372 ping 20-30, at 8372 it starts from 30 and higher. The total speed is the same and ranges from 4 Mbps to 20, depending on the network load (on both I used an external antenna). Those. when watching videos and downloading large files, you will not really feel the difference. However, on 8372, the curve shows a brake at the beginning of the connection, which is not present on 3372. Opening the pages, I clearly feel that a normal modem responds much faster. The router seems to "think" before the start of data exchange. A bit inconvenient when surfing and I suppose will affect online games. I will play with the firmware and look for a solution.

Advantages: Perfectly working device. Excellent reception quality. At the dacha, the cell phone does not catch 3G at all. On the E8372, the connection is confident, 3G works well, and if placed on the second floor - just fine. It's a pity there is no 4G coverage in the country. WiFi is simply unrealistic for such a baby with a built-in antenna. At a distance of 40 meters from the house, normal WiFi reception on a smartphone and tablet.

Disadvantages: The cover of the modem opens easily. Sometimes it opens when inserting-removing into a USB connector.

Comment: I'm a fool! I got a 3G modem from a mobile operator and was using it for almost a year. The speed was low (1 Mbps was like a holiday), the connection was often lost. The choice fell on this model, I did not know then that it could work as an independent device without a computer and distribute the Internet via Wi-Fi, when I found out I was very surprised. In fact, this is a full-fledged mobile router, made in a case from a USB modem and without a battery. It can work as a USB modem, or it can be connected to an adapter or PowerBank and distribute the Internet. I was surprised by the reception quality, without an antenna the device stably receives 3G at three divisions of the antenna indicator, and when an external antenna is connected - 4G at one division, the connection quality is amazing! And this is in the place where my smartphone has difficulty catching GPRS. I hung the modem on the window on the second floor of the house along with the antenna, on the first floor I catch Wi-Fi, I'm very pleased. I measured the current consumption, it ranges from 200 to 700 milliamperes, at its peak it reaches 1 ampere. I recommend to purchase!

It is possible to share WiFi not only through a laptop. but also simply via USB (an example is shown in the photo in the review). Excellent signaling. I live in a private two-story house. I usually connect a modem on the second floor. The signal is excellently transmitted to the back rooms of the first floor. In addition, I simultaneously connect the Internet via a modem via a laptop, smartphone and tablet. On all devices, the signal is caught well, without interruption.

Disadvantages: I found no flaws in this model. This modem meets all the necessary requirements for me. I have a Megafon SIM card, in my area this operator is "caught" the best.

Comment: An excellent option if you do not have the Internet at home or you need Internet in the country or in the suburbs. It is convenient to take it on trips, because, as I wrote above, it is compact. Also, this modem is not tied to a specific operator, you can insert any SIM card.

Advantages: Works great. I did not find any minuses. Supports SIM cards: iota, megaphone, mts, beeline and other operators.

There is also a modem in the E8372M modification, it can work on tariffs for mobile devices.Accordingly, the monthly subscription fee will be scanty (from 300 rubles) and full unlimited!

Advantages: 1. Works without a computer, just powered by USB. 2. Since the connection is established automatically by the modem, just when the power is supplied, it is seen by the TP-Link-MR3220 wireless router with 2013 firmware. This modem does not see other modern modems, since they require management, and the firmware is old.

Disadvantages: 1. I operate without a cover, since the lights of the state are almost invisible through it, the holes under them are tiny, with a diameter of about 0.2 mm. Sims also change only with the cover removed. 2. The strength of the Wi-Fi signal is certainly not so hot, since there is no antenna.

Comment: The above shortcomings are not critical for me, I join other users who gave the maximum rating.
