I can immediately say that the machines that are being produced now began to sew much quieter. Janome jl 23 makes a very high-quality buttonhole, has already sewed a bunch of shirts for grandchildren. The machine is very obedient, does not be capricious with the fabric. With the help of a knitted foot I sew even the most capricious knitwear. As a tip, be sure to consider a knitted foot for purchase - a super assistant. Of the minuses, the machine has no cover. But I immediately sewed a leather case, just having tried sewing dense fabrics and was also very pleased, everything was like clockwork. The speed is infinitely variable by pressing the pedal. I'm very happy with the machine

I bought this machine more than a month ago, I can share my experience! The machine is really good! Very quiet, there is a good overlock stitching, straight stitches that do not wag. In terms of noise, a solid 5+! Of the minuses, I advise you to immediately purchase a knitted foot for the machine, because it is not included in the set, but as far as I understood it is not included anywhere in the set. The foot helped me a lot when working with knitwear, the seam was stretched like on a cover sewing machine.
