I read a review of this model on Yandex in comparison with the b & w mt50, the review says that the mt50 sounds better, went to the top, compared both, both sound decent in the movies, but in music kef e305 beats bovers by an order of magnitude, very clear highs and mids, and the bass is supplied by the subwoofer, the set, it seems to me, should be considered for rooms up to 30 meters, I have 21 meters, I use it with the Pioneer VSX 924 receiver. And I am 100% satisfied with the speakers and the receiver.

the sound is simply excellent both in music and in movies, it took in black, the color is matte and dust is practically invisible on it. Connected to a pioneer vsx 529 receiver. Before these speakers, there were floor-standing jbl, so these egg-shaped kids from kef - outplayed full-fledged floor speakers. Very satisfied!

I chose on the basis that this is the best set of acoustics in 2014 - I received an eisa award, I could not listen to it before buying, I connected a yamaha rx s600 to the receiver at home, tuned it with a microphone, it sounds super, pumped the room 24 meters perfectly, the set is very musical and at the same time it is also compact, very pleased with the purchase.

I got it in white, hung the rear speakers on the wall, put the front speakers on a pedestal, and placed the subwoofer on the floor. Sounds amazing, especially when watching dynamic movie scenes. I bought a marantz nr1604 receiver for him and then everything sang for a score of 5 with a plus. I highly recommend this kit for typical rooms of about 20 meters.

Advantages:
Excellent compact Hi fi kit with an unusual design.
Disadvantages:
It is bad to hang from the ceiling - the tilt angle is not large - the speakers cannot be tilted all the way down.

Before this kit, in another apartment there was a KEF KHT3005SE kit, as I understand it, E305 is a simplified version of the 3005SE, in 3005 the speakers were made of cast aluminum and the subwoofer weighed twice as much, and now the material looks like plastic, but the speakers remain the same heavy ( 2 kg), in general, I was very pleased with the previous model and this new one, music for 5, cinema for 5, they should be hung at a height of one and a half to two meters from the floor - this is how the most optimal sound is obtained.

fit perfectly into the white interior, hung the front speakers, bought branded racks for the rear ones and put them on the floor. There is something to compare, but in my price category I think this is the best purchase. The kit does an excellent job with the musical component. The highs and mids are very elaborate. And the design in the apartment is decorated.
