They are Belgian, but not the usual square and not even triangles, but sticks. Belgian waffle sticks. At the time of purchase, only this confused me, the more familiar square shape of the finished product. But, all doubts disappeared after I baked the first batch of waffles. This shape turned out to be much more convenient than square ones. Great to hold in hand, convenient to dip in jam and condensed milk. The fourth plus is the quality of the panels. The instructions say to allow fifteen minutes to burn out before use in order to destroy all production oils and greases. I first wiped mine well and then let it burn out. There is a red light on the lid, like an iron. On - heats up, goes out - gla ... oh, bake! Heats up pretty quickly, about three minutes. My first mistake - I put too much dough and something came out, something poured out and hammered into the cracks ... of course, I washed everything, cleaned it off, but the fact itself. I wanted to have some kind of limiter for beginners especially. Anyway. After a couple of pastries, the eye is already trained. My vegetable waffles are baked for four to five minutes. They lag behind the frying surface very easily. I pick it up with a spatula and take it off. I don't use any oil. After cooking, the non-stick surface is practically clean. After cooling, wipe with a damp cloth and you can bake again. By the way, it is very convenient to cut these waffles into rectangles. I have a rectangle more convenient. And one very unpleasant moment, during baking a lot of steam comes out of the waffle iron, for those with small children, it is especially dangerous, and literally a few minutes later a puddle appears on the table (in front of the last photo). And after cooking, if you turn it over, it pours out of two holes. And also such a minibonus - the waffle iron can be used as a toaster.
