Advantages:
Bright and high quality screen. Small bezels around the screen and hence the small size of the laptop as a whole. Long battery life. Fingerprint scanner. Extended keyboard. Decent sound from speakers. Few pre-installed software. Touch screen. The ability to rotate 360 degrees and use like a large tablet. Charging via Type-C port.
Disadvantages:
They are insignificant for me, but anyone who wants to buy should know: The screen is glossy. You can't open it with one hand. Two and then not at once. A victim of tight hinges for tablet mode. Few ports. More details in the comments. At first there were problems with WiFi, I solved it with new drivers. In RF does not come with i7 processor. The keyboard has a short key travel, a wobbly feeling when pressed.
Comment:
Configuration 81TD004DRU with 1TB SSD and 16GB RAM. I bought it a week ago. I do not regret the purchase and recommend it for purchase. The screen is gorgeous, albeit glossy, one of the best that I have (this is my fifth laptop). Brightness is adjustable from almost invisible to tear-out. Black saturated, I have not noticed any highlights. PWM is also not detected. The sensory part is more of a toy for me, but it can come in handy. The pen is included and recognizes the pressure. The size pleases, but against the background of this size, the laptop seems heavy, although it weighs less than 2kg. Batteries with moderate work with WiFi on, browser + VisualStudio + all the little things last for 9 hours. The fingerprint scanner is very fast. I need an extended keyboard, so I chose exclusively among such laptops, from the minuses - they began to squeeze the arrow buttons, it's hard to look for them without looking. The key travel is short and noisier than we would like. Win10 allows you to flexibly configure many gestures for the touch, which is convenient to use. The sound is better than that of my previous laptops, although it is not clear why the speakers are brought to the bottom of the case. Only USB ports, both regular and Type-C. There is no HDMI, no RJ-45, no memory card slot. Who is critical, you need to choose another laptop or use adapters. But there is charging via Type-C, which will allow you to buy any charger in the future, and not look for your own. From experience, they do not last longer than 2 years.Like many recent Yogis, mine also had a problem with WiFi, although it did not fall off at all, like some, but it slowed down terribly after each reboot. As a result, I installed fresh drivers from the Intel website manually. Neither Lenovo's utility nor Intel offered them automatically. Now after loading it slows down only for the first minute, then it works well, quickly. It is a pity that we were unable to buy the variant with the i7 processor. I found on the Lenovo website that these are not officially supplied to us. But according to tests, the offered i7 is not much superior to the given i5, so it may not be worth the overpayment.
