Disadvantages: Light sensitivity in the dark is also poor. 4K is more of a marketing ploy. Huge size (albeit comfortable in the hand).

Comment: I got this camera today and want to share my first impressions. I draw your attention to the fact that these are the very first impressions, the camera has not been fully tested and most likely there will be additions in the future. I have been a fan of ultrazoom for many years. There were Minolta Dimaze Z5, Fujifilm HS10. 20, Canon SX50 and finally Nikon P900. It is with the latter that I will make a comparison.Nikon P900 was my favorite ultrazoom - with the help of it I was able to take those pictures that a DSLR (I have Nikon D810 and Nikon D850) is simply not available given the cost of the corresponding lenses. Anyway, it is absolutely incorrect to compare this device and a DSLR. The first thing that catches your eye is the sheer size of the camera. The P900 looks like a dwarf. Nevertheless, the device lies very comfortably in the hand, it is very convenient to operate and has a very cool design, it looks just fine (although, this has nothing to do with the photo). The first concern was about the matrix - it remained the same and, according to preliminary reviews, should have given the same quality. Fortunately, this was not the case. Even without detailed pixel-by-pixel analysis, the quality is better in the new device. Not by an order of magnitude, but noticeable with the naked eye. Mainly in light sensitivity. If in the P900 the noise appeared already at ISO400, here they are almost invisible, while any obvious blurring is not felt - the objects are even sharper than on the P900 under the same shooting conditions. Stabilization. It is about the same level as that of the P900. At maximum FR, a clear image can be obtained only during the day with a short exposure. At night only with a tripod. 4K video. There are no miracles here. 4K video looks like very good FullHD. So I immediately switched 4K @ 30fps to 1080 @ 60fps. The image is almost the same, but 2x smoother. And last but not least, zoom. The P900 was simply amazing. Here he got even better. For those who liked the P900 or younger counterparts, you will not be disappointed.

Advantages: What advantage can Super Zoom have ??? Of course his optics !! Simply stunning high-magnification shooting capabilities, moon photos are obtained at the level of professionals in astrophotography with equipment priced from 5000-7000 dollars !!! This is really impressive, the camera is certainly not cheap either, I would say quite expensive ... But no other camera can take pictures of this quality for this price! I really look forward to the end of the quarantine and the opportunity to go to nature, bought a camera to take pictures of animals ... In the meantime, only photos in Moscow from the balcony until I recover ...

Disadvantages: Of course, there are some drawbacks, there is no way to set the shutter speed more than 1s. with Iso 800 and aperture 8, so it was sewn into the software. It seems like a trifle, but there are a lot of such trifles, so you have to study the device along and across to somehow adapt it for yourself))

Advantages: Huge 125x zoom that turns into a fair 250x when shooting 4K video and sampling from the center of the frame FHD. Well, or do digital zoom within 2x. Powerful multi-stage image stabilization. Counteracts the effect of camera rocking on a tripod that is noticeable at maximum zoom. HDR photo mode in two fast frames. Crisp video with honest 4K resolution (not marketing at all). Large lens diameter, you can shoot distant objects even in the evening, zoom does not lead to a strong darkening of the scene. There is a fast shooting mode of 5-7 frames in a row with the formation of one of them, cleared of noise. A bunch of different modes and settings, RAW, a focus lock button (an irreplaceable thing for shooting with maximum zoom, so that the camera does not lose focus!). Can be used to observe planets - for example, Saturn, Jupiter and even its satellites are visible! You can charge from a power bank directly during operation. There is an application from Nikon, through which the camera via wifi and bluetooth transmits the image from the viewfinder to the smartphone and you can zoom in and take pictures remotely (for example, to avoid shaking the device from pressing the physical button on the body). Not heavy for its size.

Disadvantages: Small matrix size. The quality of photos is very much inferior to other devices for a similar price. This is a price to pay for a high zoom, because it is the small matrix located in the center of the projected frame that together with the lens gives such an increase in total.

Comment: In size, with the lens extended as much as possible, it begins to resemble a bazooka)) This camera makes sense to take only for supermegasum and can be handheld video thanks to good stabilization. For everything else, there are better and cheaper options.

Advantages: Zoom. Excellent 125x optical zoom. The large lens diameter makes high-magnification photos brighter and better.

Disadvantages: The lens cap is not attached to the body by the strap.

Comment: The zoom is just super - like a small telescope - even stripes on the disk of Jupiter, the rings of Saturn, the disk of Mars are visible ... and the Moon is simply mesmerizing - watch videos on this topic on the Internet. Before Р1000 I used Nikon Р600, I was planning to buy Р900, but it's good that I missed this model and waited for Р1000. The P1000 is much more powerful than the P600 and, thanks to the larger lens diameter, produces brighter and more contrasting images under the same conditions. For example, here is a fragment (just a small fragment, not a whole picture!) Of a photo of a brick wall from a distance of 1300 meters on a cloudy day, taken with the P1000 and P600 superzoom at the maximum optical zoom (125 versus 60 times) - the difference is obvious.

Advantages: Telescope + 4K camcorder + a camera that can shoot in RAW. A universal device for a blogger or a Vkontakte photographer. It shoots well on the machine, but the flash and manual mode work wonders. I liked the proprietary software for batch processing Nicon ViewNX very much, it works with the native codec faster than Lightroom.

Disadvantages: The battery is expensive and of small capacity, holds 250 shots with the built-in flash or 840 shots outdoors. The problem is solved by a cable with Aliexpress for 1300 rubles and a power bank with a 2.4Am output. For 4K you need super fast expensive flash drives, otherwise it gives a little strobe.

Comment: This is a real Nicon! These are mirrorless futures! For example, I took a picture of a cat. Flash Nicon sb 400. Files without processing.

Advantages: 1. Price. In fact, for that kind of money, this is the cheapest supergasum kit. If you shoot children's competitions, then simply the best solution. 2. The device is solid, it is not a microscopic camera, but a real one made of quality material, pleasant in the hand. 3. The uniqueness of the zoom covers all the shortcomings 4. I really like FullHD with 60fps. 5. Power supply system. It has been running on such a small battery for quite a long time. Unlike competitors, you don't need to buy a network adapter. Through a regular USB - MiniUSB cable, the battery is charged directly in the camera, without removing the battery, and it is written that it can continue to work, but the charging time increases. The power supply unit must produce at least 1.5 A. The camera, of course, heats up. I charged the camera from PowerBank, can you name a camera that can be charged and powered while shooting from PowerBank using a regular cable? 6. Diameter of filters per objective is 77 mm. I quietly used my entire fleet of Canon 70-200 on this camera. 7. it is very pleasant to hold it. 8. I really liked the electronic viewfinder

Disadvantages: 1. I am spoiled by Canon with levers and wheels for each setting, but here there are many settings through the menu, this makes reporting work wildly difficult. 2. At 3000 mm, the aperture is 8 and no options, but this is the illumination limit. 3. At 3000 mm. the clarity of laying. 4. At long focal length autofocus slows down a bit. 5. It gets scary when charging via USB. 6. Attributed to this class of cameras in which I could not find it for rent in Moscow. Action cameras are available for rent and such a cool device was classified as a toy.I only managed to beg Nikon Russia for a test drive. It's really huge, I didn't buy it myself, no matter how I would like it, but I don't need it, this is a highly specialized device with a huge zoom, one of a kind, such optics for a DSLR will cost like an apartment, although I don't even know who makes such telephoto lenses, so if you go hunting for pictures of rare animals and birds or want to have a compact telescope - a camera, then this is it, and for everything else there are more convenient Nikon, canon and other more compact soap dishes with a more modest zoom 50X - 60X so in general the sea
