Crushes without problems together with small lateral bending shoots. Branches 4 - 5 cm thick. I split lengthwise and they are also perfectly processed. The main thing is not to rush, feeding branches to the receiver, so as not to overload the engine. The result is chips with an average size of 0.5 * 1.0 cm. Thin flexible twigs (up to 0.5 cm) may not be crushed. Very happy with the purchase.

Comment:
in general, if you make sure that you do not clog and stick big sticks only at intervals, then it chews normally. I used it for 2 months on weekends for quite a long time (several hours), but in the end I grew bolder and began to poke thick sticks too often - the gearbox case melted, the rotor warped and got stuck. I will change the housing and bearing - we'll see.

Advantages:
An excellent device. I bought it because I was tired of drying and burning branches from trees and bushes. Cuts branches up to 1.5 cm in diameter with a bang. We need to get used to work. At first he poked branches at random, often had to be stopped and cleaned from working off. Then one branch at a time with the thick end down and generally fine. I attach a garbage bag to the waste disposal. Make sure that the bag is not stuffed too much. I cut half a bag - I poured it out, otherwise when the bag is stuffed, the discharge is poorly blown. Disassembling and cleaning is a chore. Cutters dull quickly when disposing of dry branches. Fresh branches in one go up to 2 garden wheelbarrows without problems.
Disadvantages:
An excellent device for rare use (once a week). With frequent use and large volumes, it will not last long.

Have tried this summer. Chopped zucchini tops, thin raspberry branches. Wet quickly clogs up (screwed onto the shaft). But cleaning is easy. So I'm happy for now. Thank you.
