I have shoulder-blade length hair, it is quite convenient to use a hairdryer at this length, but I think it will be problematic with shorter hair. As for volume, I dry my hair upside down, and I also have it rather porous, so I don't notice any decrease in volume after styling. But if your hair is voluminous and not porous, then the volume will disappear, but in this case it should disappear with any styling. Otherwise, you are doing something wrong. Do not brush your hair while licking it. You need to get used to the attachments, at first I twisted them in the wrong direction, but my hair never got tangled. But I quickly got used to it. You also need to be careful that the hair does not get between the nozzle and the hairdryer when curling. But I don't often get there. If I had to choose a hairdryer again, I would definitely choose a hairdryer, since I don't know how to style my hair with a comb and a hairdryer, I don't have enough hands.
