Comment: A little background to the review. I got a dehydrator about half a year ago. I remember exactly that the starting point for the purchase was the case when, while on a diet, I simply could not find normal snacks in the hypermarket to chew on in the movies. I began to look for recipes for jerks, vegetable chips in the oven, but somehow I quickly realized that this was a rotten topic, because: an hour of preparation, and at the exit there is 1 grill of jerks in all, a dirty oven, you constantly need to monitor, there is a risk that it will simply burn out. Actually, here this dryer itself found me in the literal sense. I didn't compare for a long time, I just looked at what they are, I decided that it was definitely not vertical, definitely not for 30 thousand, it was definitely needed with a timer. Well, that's all, this one was perfect + unlike many, it has 3 sets of trays attached (for marshmallow 6 pcs, for small berries 6 pcs, and ordinary iron 7 pcs). And yes, of course, the price is reasonable, I took it for 14,000, in my opinion, 2 times cheaper than other brands. In general, I do not understand what the trick of such expensive dehydrators can be, if you have a need to dry vegetables, fruits, meat and half an onion at the level so that it does not disappear. Now I have already tried to dry: apples, bananas, chicken, beef, fish, made granola and bars, dill and all kinds of greens, zucchini chips and something else, but I can't remember everything. The apples and bananas have dried out, but they seem to have retained their elasticity slightly, these are the best dried fruits I've ever eaten (grandma, if you read this, I'm sorry, but it is). You have to try with meat - there are many different marinades, each time you cut it in different ways, therefore the taste is different each time, the drying time. It is important to develop your own technique. Do not dry the fish in the apartment, I'm serious. Granola and bars turned out deliciously and without much difficulty. Especially granola turned out easily, because these were bars that I could not peel off the wire rack .. I am happy with this dehydrator, and moreover, I take one more as a present for Granny. And if you are looking for just a dryer for your home, convenient and practical, without any special chips, I also advise you.

Comment: In general, I was warned that it is better to take a larger dryer (say, 10 pallets instead of 7) if everyone in the family will use the dryer. But I had to save a little by taking the DDV-07. To be honest, it is still enough for the eyes and ears. Moreover, on each pallet you can place a bunch of different vegetables, fruits and other things (meat and fish have not yet been dried - we cannot say for sure how similar it will be to dried - but everything is ahead).For the rest: the device does not create much noise, only it takes up a lot of space, but progress has not yet reached the compactness of dryers, especially since the working surface will somehow not allow saving space. Considering the functionality, there are no complaints. Unless, in the case of especially wet foods, you have to dry for three days - this is if, for example, some peaches or cherries there ... And kiwi dries quickly, besides, it turns out unexpectedly tasty. Experiments are our everything. We can put 8/10 for the device itself, it does not pull up to ten only because of the long aforementioned long drying. But again, it is difficult to say whether there are devices that dry more efficiently, everything is learned by comparison.

Advantages: Low price. Metal grates / pallets. Little noise.

Disadvantages: A slight drawback in uneven drying.

Comment: Liked the dryer. I use it for a little less than a month. Dried apples, tomatoes, herbs, garlic, raspberries. The raspberries took a very, very, very long time to dry. And apples at 40 degrees in 10 hours (I turn on at night) dry well. Do not dry out. The dryer is in the kitchen, it makes a little noise, like rain outside the window. Wanted to buy 10 pallets but stopped reviewing uneven drying. Although its own 7-pallet dryer does not dry evenly either, it does not dry well near the door and on the central pallets. But in general, I am satisfied and have already recommended it to my relatives.

Comment: I learned about dehydrators relatively recently; drying of strawberries, pears and apples can now be supplemented with drying of avocados and other exotics that you need. you will not dry normally with "standard" methods. Specifically, I can say little about this dehydrator - I have not used others, I will just note the benefits that I have been able to derive from its use, regardless of: - There are 7 pallets - not to say that a lot, but I have enough. - You can put completely different fruits and vegetables on each pallet. The store assured me that the smells would not mix - and that's true. Empirically, it turned out that within one pallet you can dry raspberries, avocados, apples, grapes and kiwi without consequences. The taste of each of the above products turned out to be "native", without admixtures of neighboring fruits / vegetables. I will experiment further. - No noise very much. Outside the city, this thing was very useful as soon as we settled down. When dried, of course, they turn out not at all like store-bought chips, but still, damn it, quite dry and tasty things. We tried to dry the following: - kiwi - apples, of course - oranges (I won't do this anymore) - potatoes (in oil and with seasonings it turned out incredible) - parsnips - cherries (fortunately, it grows near our house) - smelt (it turned out like would be dried) The experiments continue, which means that the device was not bought in vain. Much of the above and what is left behind the scenes turns out to be very tasty, and the scope for choosing products here is simply endless. By the way, it is especially good that you can, say, pull out the trays that are in the middle to place a larger product, such as a whole apple or mango, say. Perfectly. The only drawback is a small number of pallets, for this it was necessary to take a model with 10 pieces. But in principle, so far this is enough, especially since they bought almost blindly. All in all, an excellent, curious device.

Comment: The mother-in-law bought a dacha and began to bring just an unimaginable amount of small green apples. Naturally useful, all things, but sour, and not very appetizing in appearance. Some of them were put on jam, but when there was no more room for these cans, they decided to dry them ... in the oven ... And, of course, I dried them out, did not finish them. As usual, only after that I began to look at how to do it correctly, and then I came across my dryer. At that time, there was some kind of action and I somehow bought it from a psycho, or from a fool. After paying, I even doubted whether I needed it, but the store managers sent me an e-book of recipes to the dryer, there were so many things that I calmed down (in the end, not to myself, so I'll give it to my mother-in-law, let the cabbage sour and dry the fish ). Now this is out of the question! Firstly, so delicious dried fruits are obtained in it that they are eaten not in 2 years, as is usually the case, but just fly. No bitterness, rich tastes, the slices themselves are smooth, pleasantly shaped. And the smell in the room, as if you live in a charlotte, is divine. Secondly, homemade vegetable chips. I especially liked the zucchini with paprika and salt. I forgot about things like pringles (and by the way, I love them very much). Thirdly, these are meat and fish jerkies (read, chips). A great alternative to the purchased dried meat (90 g for 150-300 rubles, well, horror!) Right there, he will buy meat, soy sauce, spices, that's all the waste. But I still do not recommend drying the fish in the apartment (it’s delicious, but it stinks, don’t weather it, you need to think about this moment in advance). With meat, everything is okay. Fourth, this is the answer to the eternal question of what to do with: a third of an onion, 2 cloves of garlic, dill, half a lemon, etc. All this is also dry, and I leave it for the winter. At the same time, the greenery does not lose either aroma or color (take my word for it, my camera is not very good)! This is all my poor experience so far. I know that there you can make sauerkraut, and make yoghurts, and marshmallow, and some sweets, bars. But I am a little not up to it, maybe someday I will try.

Advantages: There were many hopes I chose for a long time I want to say that all hopes were justified! It dries perfectly! Includes a lot. We've already dried a lot of things. Apples, pears, plums, bananas, oranges, peaches, they made pastille Magic! The priority is still pear))

I have been using it with pleasure for a year now. The only thing that bothers you is that + and - on the control panel you want to swap. And so everything is convenient, intuitive, there are even recommendations on the control panel itself on the thickness of the cut and the drying temperature.

Advantages: Compact body, nice appearance. Dries everything you put in.

Disadvantages: Quite noisy, but the hum is uniform and often does not interfere.

Comment: When using in an apartment, be prepared for the smell of the products being dried to fill the entire space. Drying fruits is one thing, but if the meat is seasoned with spices, then not everyone may like it.
