The player only pulls such files, especially in the H.265 codec. So I can't get enough of it. I installed any application and everything works fine. If you use it with a TV, then you will completely forget what widgets you have there, plus constantly non-working widgets are pissed off. I like it at work, such a mini PC chtoli turns out, everything is familiar, Android after all. And if you also program on Android, then I think it is an irreplaceable thing. Perhaps there are few ports, but everything is there for normal operation.

Comment: For a long time I used the WDTV Live media player, which still works fine, but is already somewhat obsolete. For a long time I did not dare to switch to Android due to existing problems, incl. with support for multi-channel audio. Finally got this wonderful device. The instructions say that external drives up to 2 TB are supported. Fortunately, it works without problems with 3 and 6 TB hard drives. Reads almost everything, including H.265. 4K video is also no problem (even with FullHD output, the screen still looks gorgeous). Reads BD3D images with full 3D support. But DVD / Blu-ray images are played without menu. It can automatically switch to 24p mode when playing the corresponding content, which makes the picture very natural (frame-by-frame). Digital multichannel sound is correctly transmitted to the receiver via HDMI in Pass-Through mode. Correctly reproduced the DVD-Audio image and played 24-bit 96kHz music in flac format (giving exactly 96kHz to the receiver). Without any problems out of the box, you can set up a Samba and / or FTP server to copy files from USB drives (or to them). The speed of copying from a computer rests on the network and is about 11.5 MB / s. I am not interested in working as an Android device, so I did not try to install games and other third-party software. An ordinary remote control is enough for full control of the standard software, a mouse and keyboard are not required (but you can connect them if you wish). In general, I am very pleased with the purchase, as the universal player is definitely worth its money.

Advantages: A complete home media center that allows, in principle, everything that an android can. Peers.TV works out of the box (though after a couple of days it turned out that some of the channels are by subscription :), Kodi had to be set up, but now it works fine. Catches DLNA on the local network (can distribute too), shows IPTV. On the remote, you can configure 4 buttons on the TV.

Disadvantages: The remote control is of course convenient, but the mute button is missing. There could be more programmable buttons for the TV. During operation, an assembly defect was revealed, which the crazy handles, however, could easily fix. For a week I suffered from the fact that the sector of the remote control was too narrow. It turned out that the assembler had glued the WiFi antenna in front of the IR sensor.

Comment: So far, I can only compare with a flawed prefix from Rostelecom. This device has an unambiguous primacy. In several situations, hands instinctively feel for the keyboard, and the finger reaches for the TV screen, but this is a general Android concept, after setting up, the remote control is enough. If you want to use it like a computer, you need a mouse and keyboard. I didn't test performance - I didn't buy it for that.

If everything is clear with the software, everything is at a very decent level, then I will clarify the situation with the hardware: everything is also good, there are no lags in games, the performance is normal. Surfing the Internet is also comfortable. The device is good, already used to it, it is really worth the money.

Advantages: Fast enough to work. The hardware is powerful, so 4K video plays very well without lags. Looks great, simple and completely reliable. The assembly is excellent, nothing is skewed, the connectors do not dangle, everything is connected simply. The TV turns into a kind of multimedia computer that can do everything.

Comment: Prefix, like a prefix. I have been using it for a long time and got used to it, for me it is important that everything works stably. And of the features of the console, I can only say two things, it is compact for all its power and does not heat up, and the second software - you can use the proprietary shell from the manufacturer, or you can ala the standard Google one.
