We decided to start our own, so as not to drive friends into additional costs for test strips, and they could not give us for a long time. The instructions were sorted out quickly, everything is described in sufficient detail. The packaging of test strips is somewhat inconveniently organized: you have to expose the contacts in two steps, tearing off the wrapping paper so as not to damage the strip itself. Initially, one strip was spoiled, because removed the finger too early with a drop of blood. Then we got used to it. The puncture is quite painful: Softflix apparently has a thinner needle. We still use the apparatus for periodic monitoring, punctures are required at most once a day or less often, and you can be patient. Those who plan to use the meter more often should consider purchasing a more gentle lancing device. Still, the situation with the interpretation of the results is not very clear: the device is calibrated for whole blood, what result should be considered the norm for it, and with which to sound the alarm and go to the doctor. Friends have both SE (by blood) and One Touch Select (by plasma), but the guys do not make any corrections when keeping a diary.

Bayer devices are the only good alternative. what's wrong. a large drop of blood (this is the only thing diabetics cannot measure with - there is not enough blood for fences 3-9 times a day), yes, it is less than on the previous model, but many times more than all modern bayer devices. large lancet - I use the ancient small one from wantach. strips and less can be done by 30 percent - the manufacturer will save on materials, and we will get a low cost. the manufacturer does not sell strips from the factory and does not cooperate with logistics companies (I want to order me on the website and receive at least by Russian mail, boxberry / pickpoint, etc. or what kind of cheap delivery), but he could earn more himself, and to us it would be more convenient to get it - after all, in the Moscow Region, only one online pharmacy deals with this and the strips now in 2018 went intermittently (I buy them for mine - doctors cannot even provide one pack, which is enough for a week). why are you feeding these dealers' parasites? I'm ready to pay ..
