We made minor repairs in the nursery. We decided to replace the linoleum, due to the complete wear and tear of the old linoleum and a selection of colors for the wallpaper in the room. We bought semi-commercial linoleum "" at a price of 331 rubles per square meter (with a discount). We needed a width of 3 meters (the manufacturer presents this design in a width of 3.5 meters). We liked its matt gray color and unbroken design in the form of boards laid parallel to each other. These "boards" are edged on the sides with a dark line, which gives the linoleum some kind of lively color, which, in principle, bribed us when choosing. Trying to "make it under the laminate" was not even in my thoughts.
Laying is recommended one day after the roll is unwound. It is also impossible to give a load on the first day. That is, we brought it home, spread it out, and the next day we put it down. For an hour, linoleum has completely acquired the shape of the floor, without folds. The sales assistant was so actively imposing a special glue for gluing linoleum to the floor that we even wanted to buy it. But after reading the passport of linoleum, we learned that it can be laid without glue.
There was no unpleasant odor from the PVC coating. Standard care is recommended in the form of wet cleaning with water or linoleum products.
Tarkett EXTRA AKRON 6 is resistant to long-term exposure from furniture legs. Indeed, the same linoleum has been in our bedroom for over 2 years; survived two rearrangements of furniture - and no traces of dents, which is nice.
Friends who visited us after the renovation said "You have a nice laminate!" They did not believe that it was linoleum, they touched it ... The drawing on the linoleum is embossed, the "seams" between the "boards" are very similar to the seams between laminate boards. Because of its relief structure, kids won't be able to ride it. But they will fall less.
Drawing and became the weak side of linoleum. When the furniture was moved, the drawing was scratched a little, there were notches. It is not striking, but if you look closely, you can notice. So if you want to move furniture, be careful not to spoil the decorative finish.
