Advantages: - Adjustable volume. This backpack can be adjusted for any volume in the range from 80 to 120-130 liters, and nothing in it will bulge or dangle. - The lower compartment has a partition with a central section, it can be unfastened, significantly increasing the depth of the backpack, or can be used separately. It fits two pairs of mountain boots. - Extremely convenient side pockets and lanyard placement above them. If you place a three-person tent (or a tent and mats) on each side of the backpack, and place a couple of sleeping bags in the lower one, then you still have ... a giant empty backpack. - Convenient instant access to all departments (although nowadays you will hardly surprise anyone) - A cool raincoat for a backpack included. - It makes no sense to speak separately about the X-1 cargo distribution system, but one cannot but praise it. The back of the bison is wonderful, strong and comfortable, all the load goes to the legs, your own back just helps the backpack to stay upright. - The materials are very durable and pleasant to the touch. Attention! In most of the photographs, the bison shines, as it were, and its texture resembles thin "umbrella" nylon. In reality, the fabric is very dense, matte and more like a tarp to the touch. - High-quality fittings and excellent seams.
Disadvantages: Reviews often mention that a buffalo cannot be tuned to a short person. I confirm. People with a height of less than 180 cm have not been able to achieve a comfortable fit of the shoulder straps. I have a height of 185, my backpack sat perfectly. I don't think this is a drawback, but rather a feature. For example, backpacks in which 165-175 people are comfortable do not suit me, the shoulder strap first goes up, reaching up to my shoulder, and only then forward and up, and this noticeably irritates my stooped back.
Comment: Good. With new prices in the region of 25 thousand, it becomes difficult to raise money, but if you happen to fork out for it, and it fits in growth, you will not want to change it for something else. It looks eternal, it's a purchase for life. As for the weight of 3.5 kilos, do not forget that this is not a picnic bag, but a serious backpack for long hikes, in which tens of kilograms of vital things will be carried.Having saved one and a half kilos on choosing a lighter model, even from the same manufacturer, you will get a thing that sooner or later you can doubt. Thinner fabric, more fragile frame. Bison is, figuratively speaking, a solid bog oak wardrobe. It will be good with him and your grandchildren.

Advantages: Ergonomics, namely the comfort of adherence to the back, shorter sits quite comfortably. I am the owner of this backpack model for the 7th year. Walking with it is quite pleasant, with a height of 182 cm and a weight of about 72 kg, I can carry up to 40 kg in it. (at the beginning of the route). Carrying a load in this backpack feels much easier than in other models (Ermak walked with an easel backpack for several years, and also wore "Kathmandu 90 + 10" for several years). The main difference between "Bison" and "Kathmandu" (and similar models) is that it has much thicker shoulder and waist straps, so they fit the body better and do not press as much as on other models, where the straps are much thinner and narrower, in fact In many ways, the weight is distributed more evenly. The "Bizon" has a very stiff back, it does not "walk" like more "budget" models (my "Kathmandu" did not have such rigidity), which is also felt and affects the ease of use. Very roomy, you can go with it for 2-3 weeks, everything will fit. The quality of tailoring, I go with him for the 7th year (on average, 1-2 times a year for 2 weeks, and trips for 2-3 days, 2 times a year). everything is in place, nothing has peeled off, only in one place I have additionally stitched supporting straps.
Disadvantages: The price is perhaps the main drawback. In addition, I would like to note all the same not a small weight of the backpack itself, when we walked for 2-3 days, compared to other backpacks, mine weighed significantly more, although everyone took about the same things, but on a 2-week route it was no longer so critical. High enough backrest i.e. You cannot lift your head back, it rests on the back of the backpack, the maximum that you can do is to straighten your head parallel to your back, and to look in front of you, you need to straighten up accordingly, but when you go for a few hours, straightening up again with a heavy backpack gets boring, but over time you get used to this feature.
Comment: Long chose between him and "Grandmaster 120". Although the price is 2 times different, I bought at the purchase price, nevertheless I thought for a very long time what to take I will explain, I needed a large volume of a backpack, as over time 100 liters became small (photographic equipment, gas burners, etc.), but Bison has a volume closer to 130-140hp. since it is measured by the number of 1 liter balls that fit in a backpack (the German way of measuring the volume of a backpack - as the seller told me, and this is real, its volume is really 140 liters). In the grandmaster, I liked the presence of side pockets, Bizon does not have them (2 small lower ones do not count), but this is a feature of its design, since the presence of side pockets automatically leads to the fact that it is necessary to reduce the diameter of the central "entrance", otherwise protruding side pockets will walking to cling to branches. Bizon actually has one central "entrance" of large diameter, through which it is very easy and convenient to fold everything, with a separate entrance from the bottom, as well as a front entrance (I used it only a few times). You can easily hook a tent and a mat to the side braces. There is also a compartment in the upper valve for all kinds of trifles and medicines. Conclusion: if you need a large volume backpack, take it. You can carry 35kg in it and feel relatively normal. Of course, his price is significantly higher than other models, but he is worth his money.

Advantages: And pockets, and all sorts of elastic bands and volume Multifunctional, very thoughtful backpack.
Disadvantages: But it did not fit me, as it was not modeled, I had to refuse. And I'm very sorry, because the backpack is cool. but here it did not come to my back "to taste".
Comment: It's a shame what to say. Moreover, the smaller model by 75 liters came up optimally, but the large one did not sit down at all. so my advice to everyone is to measure and try the backpack before buying !!

Advantages: I have been using this backpack for a long time - it is very durable and roomy! Usually I carry a lot of things with me, but there is plenty of space left, because you can conveniently place sleeping bags and tents! Not too many small pockets are good, because they only get in the way. Excellent back frame, even with long walking with heavy weight, comfortable to carry.
Disadvantages: Expensive.
Comment: I've heard that short people are not comfortable with a backpack. Apparently, I was lucky here, maybe I'm taller than 180. Satisfied with the backpack and recommend it!

Advantages: Sturdy, traveled with this backpack on five trips and looks like new. It is convenient to carry it even at maximum load, the straps do not press hard on the shoulders, the backpack lies well on the hips
Disadvantages: slight variation in colors
Comment: A comfortable and practical backpack, well made, you can safely load it to the maximum.

Advantages: A well-made backpack, durable and comfortable. the sleeping bag compartment is large, access to clothes through the front pocket is good news, especially when the backpack is packed to the eyeballs. in total, we save time on finding things in the bison. The best thing is perhaps the back system, which distributes the weight from the shoulders to the waist and makes the 17 kg behind the back almost imperceptible.
Disadvantages: For some reason, the backpack is designed for tall people, the back should be long enough. I didn't really like the outer side pockets. small, only the map fits well, and some small snack. I would like more of them, so that you can throw other useful pieces there.
Comment: I was looking for a suitable backpack for a long time, tried it on, but in the end I settled on the 120-m bison.

Advantages: withstands heavy weight, practical, comfortable to wear, anatomical, roomy.
Disadvantages: there is little choice of colors, I would like to buy a different color, well, we will assume that we are worried so that it is not easily soiled.
Comment: Nice backpack, happy with the purchase. I took it on a hike, everything fit, even the place remained, I added little things at my discretion. It fits well to the body, there are side pockets. Very durable, made for 100 years.

Advantages: Roomy, comfortable.
Disadvantages: Poor quality (it's strange that no one has noticed this yet), after the first trip, the seams began to diverge from the top at the place where the straps and handles were attached, and this despite the fact that the backpack was not loaded to the maximum. Later I saw the same thing with another backpack owner, that is, the reason is not my misuse.
