The pump pumped out the water without problems, it turned off itself at the minimum water level. After that, he did not use it himself, gave it to a neighbor, he had a similar problem, he said that the pump coped with the task. If you need to directly pump out dry below the minimum level, then in principle you can just hold the float.

The problem of flooding is apparently relevant now. Not so long ago I bought a dn-750. I pumped water from the cellar in the house. There was about a meter of water, muddy with sand. Pumped out to a height of 2.5 meters. I thought it would get clogged, no, I never even lowered the pressure. After pumping it was covered in sand, washed with clean water and onto the shelf. I also wanted to warn you right away that it still pumps out not dry. at least a couple of centimeters of water remains
