Opinions about Wanhao Duplicator 6
Technologically quite a decent device.
With the proper skill and experience in 3D, the results are always above average.
Speed aside, print quality with standard profiles never disappoints.
Elegant milled welded body
The build is mostly ok but:
Curved drive shafts - 0.73 mm indicator at center
bearings crunch
the socket for SD collapsed - a defect when soldering the housing of the socket to the board on the right side
in short, change everything.
It seems that they sold a prepared exhibition sample that has already passed a number of hundreds of meters of plastic.
But it's impossible to prove.
After putting in order the device showed itself from the best side.
All electronics, MK11 extruder and kinematics cope with their task with a bang.
Weak, structurally not optimal and one-sided blowing of the model when printing.
All the same, there are not enough limit switches for limit movements.
A couple of minor notes on the firmware.
The firmware seems to have been abandoned.
The airflow system is modified to a two-type airflow system with displacement of the airflow axes relative to each other, the result is excellent
The possibility of flashing with adapted versions of Marlin and Repetier Software 3D RepRap was checked with a subsequent return to the original firmware - everything is fine, everything works, everything is configured.
